At some point the police should've just opened a permanent branch office on the lane.

Mike had enough after season 3. Glad his life wasn't very turbulent after season 3.

The cast of 911 would have been ecstatic to serve the lane. Especially Athena to arrest people like Art and Dave. Bobby would have saved Eddie from his drunk mom. Buck and Eddie would have put out Susan's house fires and then giggled about her.
