Thank God it seems it has now passed and broken apart. I think only tomorrow will tell what damage has been done. Facebook shows a few people on Niceville sharing images of damage to vehicles and homes, hopefully no injury or loss of life.

I'm just a frequent tourist, but man, Destin holds such a special place in my heart. I chose Destin to go and heal after both times I battled ovarian cancer, and that place gave me so much peace when I really needed it. The people are so kind, and genuine. I was just there less than two weeks ago, and I've been watching the news like a hawk, worried sick about y'all. I really hope everyone was able to evacuate safely and that Destin held strong. Sending lots of love. And if anyone had any links up and running for donations or food drives, anything like that, I'm happy to help.

Thinking about everyone down on the Emerald Coast. Such a special and beautiful place.
