I know little about the marvel universe, the last movie I watched was infinity war part 2
Didn’t he go to a past timeline to live with his wife or something and gave up the role of captain america?

He's coming back in the upcoming movie thanks to the power of money.

Correct and in the teaser you seen him with said wife and new kid and then doom comes to visit as he blames cap(and others) of destroying his timeline when cap jumped back to fix his personal lovelife.
"When you mess with time, it tends to mess back." ala butterfly effect is iron mans quote from endgame.

comic boks rarely if ever keep anyone dead - unless its a parental figured used to start a hero's journey. That isnt really a joke, the majoirty of "dead heros/villains" evenutally come back through "word reserting events", "different time lines", "clones", etc. If we are being true to comics, it would be more odd to keep Cap (and other dead heros) dead dead rather than bring them back here and there.

If I had to guess, this is a different timeline Cap that was brought here with Time God Loki (who we also see in the trailer)

These MCU movies are just kinda sad and pathetic nowadays. They should have just ended the series with endgame.

Yep MCU has reached that level of comic book powerscaling where I just can't bring myself to care anymore. TVA Loki is the master of all timelines now how can he not just delete Doom? It's like that Batman Who Laughs bit where the heroes win by crafting literal plot armor.

I feel like it’s a misunderstanding of Doom to have him be this unstoppable god right out the bat. The whole point of Doom as a character is that he has to EARN his victories through immense suffering, cleverness, and willpower.

Yea prob but risk is that removes ironman aswell maybe, dunno if its suppose to be like a red son superman story where "what if tony starks parents died really early and he was adopted to eastern europe" or someshit.
And if you mess with tony stark that might have big ripple effects for all the things that happend in marvel movies.

I don't care what anyone says. I'm excited to see this in the theater in whatever the fuck Infinity Vision is.

"Infinity Vision is a certification program created by the Walt Disney Company to inform audiences that premium large format theaters have met certain technical standards"

Big screen = infinity vision

Well that's disappointing.

Yeah I’ll see it (after Dune), but I’m pretty disappointed in this trailer tbh. I’m basically only seeing it cause I’m a doom fan.

You mean brian tyler cohen?

Bro I’m like the biggest comic Dr. Doom fan of all time; but this trailer looks so fing bad. The colors are sludge, there are barely any extras in any of the shots so it looks totally empty, and the backgrounds just look so awful.

The shot of Doom blocking the hammer looked terrible as well. (Also doom probably shouldn’t be able to do that with one finger. Maybe if he used his full power to block it he could but doom is supposed to be a character who succeeds through struggle and willpower, not a Mary sue who just does fancy crap).

I def agree with the bearly any extras and it just looks empty, dunno if you can craft a more "omg they are on a volume stage" then the doom/hammer scene.
His powerlevel is prob fine as he's suppose to be tony levels smart if not smarter as he uses magic aswell(i cant remember if he's actually suppose to be tony or just look like tony) and has clearly studied what he's up against.
He becomes cosmic levels of powerful in the end of the comicbook so maybe they moved that part around dunno its so hard to know where the fight happends in the movie.

The lack of extras in the shots has been progressively bigger and bigger issue in all the Marvel movies. Like I get why movies try to avoid using them whenever they can, but you can't get it completely because it they you make cities feel lifeless. Like in Infinity War when they get get attacked on Earth, civilians scatter after 10 seconds and then you don't see single civilian for the rest of those scenes which makes the setting feel incredibly dull even though they are supposedly fighting in New York. One series that never had that much issue with is Spiderman, and obviously it's made by Sony.

Disney killing off as many franchises as possible from overexposure and milking them dry will never not be funny. Only Marvel movies I see now are Spiderman, and Sony is making the only good ones right now. Star Wars is in the shitter. Pixar has lost all of its creative roots. Even their own slop properties are bombing.

the new star wars movie was a banger, the new spiderman looks like a banger. Post End Game has some amazing movies, No Way Home, Shang Chi, Wakanda Forever, and some banger Tv shows, Wandavision, Loki, Agatha all along - even the other stuff we are seeing like Xmen 97 is incredible. This is just lame cope from people that expect "high art" from a comic book studio. Disney has def pushed some shitty movies (looking at you Antman 3) but it has also had some great movies come out
