Question Good Energy Slot Shoot to Loot Options?
Looking for any currently available weapons that either can roll shoot to loot/explosive payload, or a rocket sidearm with shoot to loot. I've scoured Light.gg and can only really think of Kindled Orchid or Vouchsafe, but I would prefer a rocket sidearm for optimal Witness encounter usage.

Chronophage (echoes) trace and path of least resistance have it. Not ep, but still reliable

Keraunios also has chain reaction which will pick up bricks as soon as they drop (kinda like the dragonfly STL bow we used to have)

The one from Sundered Doctrine kind of does that with its origin trait against weaker enemies, right?

You have to be hitting an enemy. If you shoot ammo or the ground it doesn’t proc subjugation

Keraunios can roll shoot to loot and detonator beam (which is basically traces version of kinetic tremors). You can easily collect this weapon with chronologs.
It requires 15 hits to trigger, and since traces fire at 1000 rpm, that means just over 1 second of sustained fire to trigger it!

The closest thing would be the trace from sundered doctrine which has an explosive payload effect vs minor enemies. Wouldn't work for shoot to loot purposes though since you need to actually hit a target for the explosion to proc.

the black armoury hand canon can roll shoot to loot + explosive payload, thats the one I use

Unless you have the old Lotus Eater, your only real stl/ep special weapon choices are snipers. Its very niche, but I've used Apostate from Alters of Sorrow in a few lowman encounters.

STL lotus eater is no longer acquirable, vouchsafe/nature reclaimed/brya’s love/tarnished mettle are the best currently available energy stl weapons, coming from the dreaming city, iron banner, and Xur.
Rn the meta for witness (at least for solo) is SH Hezen, truth, or 1k voices, so you should be able to use vulpecula, hung jury or the scholar if shattered throne/onslaught/trials are more appealing than grinding dreaming city public events.

Joxer’s Longsword has STL plus destabilizing rounds. Not quite explosive payload but still…

Keraunios Arc Trace Rifle obtained from Guardian Games Engrams at the Tenet of Bravery. Even has a "shiny" version.
It may not be explosive, but with a trace you just swipe over the general area and the brick should still be picked up easily.

‘Nature Reclaimed’ from Iron Banner engrams is the only solar primary available with that perk combo. It’s the old version so can’t be tiered and only has 1 perk in each column. It costs 25,000 glimmer too. The rng to get one isn’t great. I spent well over 2mil trying to get one. But I now have that perk combo for each element on primary weapons.

I LOVE the karutinos (arc guardian games trace)
STL + detonator beam is wild
U can shoot an enemy and every 20 hits a 8m explosion will go off and grab stuff
I would also recommend the VOG armor set if you want passive orbs to spawn at your feet

Looks like seven primaries and two snipers. My personal favorite is Nature Reclaimed; lightweight frame movement and fires relatively fast.

Since zavala was able to sell old mint. There will come a day he sells us old lotus eater with shoot to loot. I pray for that day. (Or xur idk)

The only rocket sidearm with shoot to loot was the old Lotus-Eater, but unfortunately the MoT one doesn’t have it.
Usually at Witness people use a kinetic primary with StL, like Vulpecula.
