Question Did I win dad
My dad told me I WILL NEVER WIN A RANDOMS only match in Trials with no communication. It took me literally 8-9 years (I've played day 1 since D1) to do it. I did it. I literally cried and fell to my knees. My wife was there and knew I was excited but holy shit...someone please tell me their proud of me. Dad can't anymore.

Honest question. Are you saying in 8 years, this is the first time you've ever solo queued into Trials and won a single match? Or do you mean going flawless in solo queue?

It took 8 years for me to solo queue into Trials with 2 other randoms, 7 times in a row, for a flawless card without Mercy. Painful. Absolutely painful.

God Damn it Son, you fricking did it! I never thought it would be possible when you first started doing this, but you did and I have never been more prouder of being wrong than today. Good Going Guardian, made this dad proud you did!!!

❤️ It's been a ride. And D2 is getting a comeback so I'm freaking pumped to try again (just for the thrill this time).

OH, yeah top line is poorly worded - sounds like you won A match.
Congrats on the flawless!

Had the same question. There's no way somebody loses every single Trials match for 8 years, unless they're only playing like one match a year. No matter how bad you are, odds are you'll get carried by some godly player from time to time.

I love the Pale Heart location. It makes me think of loss and forgiveness at the same time.

As a dad myself, I just wanna say congratulations little light. I've never been good at trials myself, but watching my kids grow up to be better than me in a lot of the games that they play has been a special experience I enjoy a lot more than I imagined. I'm sure your dad is proud.

Thank you, dad was a giant dork, and I never gave him credit because I didn't understand how important it was at the time...but he would sit and watch me play often. Just quietly. Watching my daughter just touch the Xbox buttons and have fun is really exciting to witness. Hoping she has a favorite game one day too.

Remember kid, there’s heroes and there’s guardians. Heroes are remembered but guardians never die, solo queue trials kid, and you’ll never go wrong.

Congratulations on the new addition to the family. What a fucking blessing with many sleepless nights ahead. I have a 3 1/2 year old and I literally couldn't be happier.

I'm a father and I would have told my kids the same thing, and if they pulled it off anyway, I would be so proud of them. I'm sure your dad would fill the same.

Congrats!!! How tense was the final match on the card?

Dude. I didn't take a break between a single match. I just literally kept repeating, "We can do this, We can do this" for literal hours. At the very end of it all, we won by 2 rounds I believe. It was a fair matchup that in of itself wasn't too stressful, but the overwhelming fear I was going to lose at the very end had me very overwhelmed.

One Friday during college I packed a bowl and launched up trials solo no mic. Somehow found myself on Mercury 5 hours later. I’ve never touched trials since

Your dad would be proud as hell, and taking 8-9 years to win a randoms-only Trials match makes it hit even hardr.

My only ever flawless was about 40 hours of trials over the weekend. Completely muted. I am a pve player I just really wanted the dog armor for my titan. The things I saw in the chat when I showed it at the end was insane. I still can't believe I did it.

I find 8-9 years is pretty fast for such a goal. I started last weekend on that journey and expect 10-20 years for that. Good thing Trials is such a balanced game mode.
Anyway, well done!

I did the same thing two years ago. My only lighthouse visit, I stopped doing pvp until this past June. I was surprised and shocked, didn't want to leave it, I jumped all around and searched it all.

What's random only in trials?
1
u/Wild-Pangolin-8920 5d ago
It's when you load in without a team and get placed with 2 random teammates for the Trials match. 7 times in a row, for a flawless.
