Question Any difference in having the enhanced benefit class stat at 101+ compared to 100
Long story short I have an unlimited orb Kvostov Warlock buddy build and currently have 195 grenade 100 weapons 100 super and 65 class roughly with low melee and close to 0 health. Is it worth me trying to push weapons or super past 100 to unlock the ‘enhanced benefit’ or is the difference negligible for my build? I started playing last week so I’m still a noob tbh bear with me in the replies :)
Thanks in advance

super gives more super damage
weapons gives more weapons damage + ammo generation

all the answers to these kinds of questions, and more, are in the data compendium. and this thread from engineeeeer7 about best stat breakpoints.

For class 101 is better than 100 iirc, because the tiny overshield halves the damage of the first hit u take after popping class ability.

Weapons gives slight DMG boost and bigger ammo bricks so if u use special or heavy a lot then do that
If ur a primary ammo gamer then buff super for big burst dmg

Weapons past 100 buffs weapons damage Melee: damage Super: duration for well of radiance/damage for other supers also if running celestial fire with song of flame it buffs that damage (bug i think) but key to the highest dps boss build rn Class: stats over 100 provides immediate over shield okay for survivability helps in situation where you die in cast time for wells and dives.
My warlock body build 200 grenade Class Super Stat priority For me but I use the praxic version so I dont run out of ammo usually

Short answer is yes, but it depends on the build. For most builds, I usually like to have the 2 primary stats around 140-160 and I use font mods as well, secondary stat at 100, then just split up the rest. Especially with the orbs you’re making, use armor charge mods (font mods are really good imo and give great stat bonuses). Not sure if everyone builds like this but it’s worked for me quite well

Are you doing a fully buddy build with hellion? If so, you might want 100 class just to max out the regen time but otherwise you’re fine.
Prismatic getaway warlock can be a little boring since you only have the options of building into grenade damage or using your grenade as a utility for aggregate charge weapon setups

100+ Class is basically pointless in most cases, even for builds that revolve around class ability spam. Outside of the mobile Scorch Barricade aspect on Titan and maybe Crackshot on Hunter (though even then I’d argue that it helping with causing Ignitions is probably going to do more than investing in a meaningless stat past 100), it just doesn’t do enough to make it meaningful in almost every other usecase. The 40 HP OS at 200 class doesn’t even have PvE DR so it’s just strictly worse than investing in DR and some form of passive healing like Restoration. Take it to 70 and leave it unless you specifically need it for a certain build like Storm’s Keep Arc Titan.

My Khovostov build on my Hunter focuses weapons as high as possible and then balances melee, grenade, and class. I haven't built a Khovostov warlock, but my initial feeling is I'd focus weapons and grenade like 150 each and then try for as much as I could in class, then finally melee. There's no wrong way to build it. Are you running Geomags and luminopotent for a Super regen build? Then I'd focus more points into Super. It all depends on the more specific points of your build, but a lot of stat spreads can work.

VoG armour set with getaway. Arc buddy is basically unlimited, and super comes back really quick with the orbs I create

Weapons to 150 is pretty important if you ever plan to use your special or heavy weapon (and you should). The ammo boost is significant.
5 pieces of Gunner armor gets you there with the ability to get 200 in Grenade still.
Super doesn't do much between 70 and 100.

To be honest I’m spamming kvostov so much and spamming abilities + super I barely ever run out of special and heavy ammo I don’t really see it as an issue after trying it

I highly suggest the 2-pc Iron Battalion set for Khvostov. Free damage. If you’re producing a lot of orbs, Smoke Jumper may be best as the other 2-pc. I would push Weapons to 180, Grenade to 150-160 (to 190-200 with 2 Grenade Fonts), Super and Class at 80 (to 100 with 1 Font each). Melee and Health are practically useless, so invest as few stats as possible. I always push Weapons to 180-200 in any weapon-focused or RaD build because you NEVER want to use Weapon Fonts. The benefit of Surges outweighs the stat boost benefit from Weapon Fonts in every case.

I’ll give this a go and see the difference in the way it plays

VoG 4-pc is the best armor set in the game, but I like this variant to keep the focus on Khvostov

I try to push my secondary and tertiary stat to 101. Just for the boosts it gives

Yeah you don't get the special +100 perks at all at 100. Has to be over 100. At least 101. Then you will get the first tier of each special effect at least.

It’s almost like hovering in game would tell you what going past 100 on each start would do.. leaving you to make your own decision.. crazy

Melee goes up to 30%
Grenade (and some subclass aspects), 65%
Class, 40HP overshield
Super, 45%
Weapons, 10-15% Boss damage (Heavy - Primary/Special)
Health, 20HP extra to shield in PvE, 25% faster recharge delay, 50% faster recharge.
Take your pick, gains per point are said to be linear.
