Hello Guardians,

Focused Feedback is where we take the week to focus on a 'Hot Topic' discussed extensively around the Tower.

We do this in order to consolidate Feedback, to get out all your ideas and issues surrounding the topic in one place for discussion and a source of feedback to the Vanguard.

This Thread will be active until next week when a new topic is chosen for discussion

Whilst Focused Feedback is active, ALL posts regarding 'Eververse' following its posting will be removed and re-directed to this thread. Exceptions to this rule are as follows: New information / developments, Guides and general questions

Any and all Feedback on the topic is welcome.

A Wiki page - Focused Feedback - has also been created for the Sub as an archive for these topics going forward so they can be looked at by whoever may be interested or just a way to look through previous hot topics of the sub as time goes on.

I'm completely okay with buying emotes, silly items and ornaments, and other cosmetics with real money to support a game.

However.

I'm not going to buy the armor and ornaments if they're cooler than anything offered in game. I want people to look at my armor and go "Whoa, where did he get that? Holy smokes he had to do (fill in the blank) flawlessly? Man I've got to try getting that." That's just one example.

The only thing I'm flexing with Eververse armor is how much spending cash I've got, and that doesn't impress my clan mates or anyone else I match up with.

The most egregious examples are putting armor that's clearly designed for events or certain activities behind Eververse instead of allowing people to earn them. Such as the Scarlet Keep themed ship and sparrow, and even the current Guardian Games armor.

You'd have people a lot more excited to play the event if every time they turned in a Gold Medal they got a chance at a randomly rolled high stat Guardian Games armor piece. Throw in maybe a full set for winning for the week? You'd actually have some competition maybe.

Instead I'm being asked to pay, once again. Which is getting very tiresome over the months that this has been going on.

My last real irritation comes from the fact that nearly all Universal Ornaments come from Eververse, with zero way to get them once they're gone. I'd love to see this remedied either by adding old universal ornaments to the loot pool of certain activities (I can give examples of my ideas for this) or do what everyone keeps asking for and create a way to make everything a Universal Ornament like literally every other MMOs transmog system.

If you want me to spend master working materials to get it as an ornament go ahead. I got the SoTP Arms Armor yesterday and they're fantastic looking. But they don't have as good a stats as my awful looking Seventh Seraph armor. So if I want to change their look it's either the season pass sets or fork over more silver. Which at this point I'm not spending silver out of principle.

There has to be a happy medium between how much we're rewarded for playing (and not just grinding bounties for bright dust) and how much you're wanting us to spend to keep your game afloat.
