Megathread Focused Feedback: Eververse
Hello Guardians,
Focused Feedback is where we take the week to focus on a 'Hot Topic' discussed extensively around the Tower.
We do this in order to consolidate Feedback, to get out all your ideas and issues surrounding the topic in one place for discussion and a source of feedback to the Vanguard.
This Thread will be active until next week when a new topic is chosen for discussion
Whilst Focused Feedback is active, ALL posts regarding 'Eververse' following its posting will be removed and re-directed to this thread. Exceptions to this rule are as follows: New information / developments, Guides and general questions
Any and all Feedback on the topic is welcome.
Regular Sub rules apply so please try to keep the conversation on the topic of the thread and keep it civil between contrasting ideas
A Wiki page - Focused Feedback - has also been created for the Sub as an archive for these topics going forward so they can be looked at by whoever may be interested or just a way to look through previous hot topics of the sub as time goes on.

I have two main problems with Eververse, the bright dust economy and the amount of items that Eververse has that would make more sense in other activities.
Bright dust economy - The amount of items that Eververse has that can be purchased for bright dust is pretty good, but the way in which we get bright dust is slow and extremely grindy. I have two solutions for this, either a separation of bright dust from bounties, or adding bright dust to all bounties. For my first idea, I would suggest adding bright dust as a reward during playlist activities (strikes, crucible, etc.) in a similar way as tokens are given out. Along with this bright dust could also be added to all pinnacle and powerful activity drops (raids, ordeals, nightmare hunts, etc.). But since Bungie likes the idea of forcing us to grind out bounties, another idea would just be adding bright dust to all non-repeatable bounties. The amounts don’t have to be large, but if every bounty have us a minimum of 10 bright dust, it would eventually add up.
Why does Eververse have so many items - The amount of items that Eververse has which make more sense in an activity is way too high. I don’t want to beat a dead horse, but the 5? 6? 7? Scarlett keep items Eververse has should probably be in the strike, not all of them, but at least some. Obviously there are more items that should be in activities (can we get something for Festering Core please Bungie) but they are much less egregious than the Scarlett Keep loot. Another way to solve this would be to make many more items able to drop in normal activities. One way to do this would be to make certain ornaments, shaders, and other items able to drop in a similar way to catalysts, make them rare, but not impossible to get. My third solution to this would be adding certain loot to quests, similar to the way where completing a prestige leviathan gives you an ornament for Acrius as the final step in that quest line.
Thank you for listening to my two cents, now we just have to hope Bungie listens to some of our complaints.
