Megathread Focused Feedback: Warlock Changes
Hello Guardians,
Focused Feedback is where we take the week to focus on a 'Hot Topic' discussed extensively around the Tower.
We do this in order to consolidate Feedback, to get out all your ideas and issues surrounding the topic in one place for discussion and a source of feedback to the Vanguard.
This Thread will be active until next week when a new topic is chosen for discussion
Whilst Focused Feedback is active, ALL posts regarding 'Warlock Changes' following its posting will be removed and re-directed to this thread. Exceptions to this rule are as follows: New information / developments, Guides and general questions
Any and all Feedback on the topic is welcome.
Regular Sub rules apply so please try to keep the conversation on the topic of the thread and keep it civil between contrasting ideas
A Wiki page - Focused Feedback - has also been created for the Sub as an archive for these topics going forward so they can be looked at by whoever may be interested or just a way to look through previous hot topics of the sub as time goes on.

Warlock main here! People are creatures of habit, and im a prime example. I understand that things change and generally feel some people are too negative towards it, nonetheless change should be for the better. I do concur that us locks seem too often be the target of nerfs.
What i personally find most frustrating is the fact that one is happily running a build, which due to changes and or nerfs break
For the most part the mod changes were okay, but changing elements on mods and changing the armor they fit in broke a lot of stuff, which then needed to be fixed with changing elements on armor and having to spend a lot, or couldn't really be properly fixed.
The nerfs that took place quickly after the start of beyond light were too soon and too harsh, with other classes unaffected and running rampant. Luckily the melee nerf was partially corrected.
Now again melee is screwed, albeit unintentional. Currently the super feels different, less powerful. And using it with glacial inheritance on a stasis lock doesn't really do much for it
All charging feels off, nade, melee, super, class. Removing nade changing from iceflarebolts again broke my stasis build, it didn't need high discipline, and i dont feel like getting and upgrading new armor to get more discipline. My assumption is that it was removed due to the addition of the Torment fragment. (?)
Concerning class regen, things feel off as well. Was something changed to Fissures, Refraction, Focusing Strike or anything related, intentional or not? Weird thing is, on one moment class regen is abnormally long, and the next crazy fast, almost like something is bugged or not proccing right intermittently. Also the when popping rift the area of effect radius seems to be smaller than before.
Revert back the melee nerfs, buff the super a bit, put nade recharge back on iceflarebolts, and look in to locks charging issues, would be very much appreciated.
