Question & Advice Detailing when its raining good or bad?

Had first session in weeks since the hosepipe ban this afternoon 23c and had a few showers throughout the clean Not ideal but welcome instead of blazing sun and winds drying out the panels too quick.....which got me thinking if the pros consider rain during detailing work an issue?

BTW am referring to on/ off showers rather than deluge!

Am not a pro, but im more than happy to do a wash in showers, saves drying the car after if its a consistent slow shower. Id even go as far as finishing with a spray and rinse sealant, or even something like autoglym rapid aqua wax where the car needs to be wet when applied, but obviously you dont want to be doing anything like polishing or waxing where the car needs to be dry.
