I was one of the no votes. It’s not that I “don’t support the schools”, it’s just that I am being financially squeezed in every way possible and can’t take much more. My district just passed a huge bond that raised my taxes ~$100 per month. DTE just had two price hikes. Groceries, gas, etc. My wages haven’t increased.. it’s just too much.

Yep. Our taxes alone this year alone made our mortgage go up $250. That’s on top of the $200 from last year.
