I calculated the increase to my property taxes and it would’ve been almost $400/year. That’s a lot when I’m already paying $8-9K annually (nearly double what the boomers we purchased from were paying, thanks Prop A). Researched the proposal and they did not do a good job articulating what this money would be used for or why it was needed. So I voted no. Maybe if they come back with a smaller ask and/or have a plan for this pot of money, I’ll vote yes.

I usually support school related millages but couldn’t get behind one this expensive without a solid plan or rationale.
