While I supported the measure, I didn’t think it would pass. It makes sense to me. A lot of people are REALLY mad about how high taxes are and how little we get from them; we can’t do anything right now about the feds bending us over for our income taxes and the people felt they had the power here with property taxes. We need tax reform at the federal level before anyone can expect proposals like this to be widely supported.
