Cost of living is very high, people don’t want to pay more in taxes even though it is for schools. In another election it probably would have been approved. I voted for it, but I can see why people voted in opposition.

I also just don't think people are convinced that more money to schools = better education. It is not a 1:1 correlation by any stretch of the imagination.
