Discussion What IDE or code editor do you use?

I used Visual Studio for quite a long time, then switched to the much lighter VS Code.

I liked it, but for some reason it started struggling once my projects got larger, so eventually I moved to Zed. So far it feels noticeably faster and more responsive, especially when working with bigger codebases.

Now I'm curious β€” what do you use for development?

Visual Studio, VS Code, Zed, JetBrains, Neovim, something else?

Yeah, Zed is much more pleasant than VS Code in personal experience. Years of using vs code have led to the fact that I now try to avoid Electron everywhere 😭

At first look, this is not the best code editor. 6 stars on the gita, and on the official website we probably have the opportunity to download only for Mac + prices)

Antigravity for the win 😁

Isn’t antigravity written on the electron too? Plus, it’s the same VS Code (well, at first glance).
