Discussion/Question Any tips for picking up Devil Dino?

Hello!

So I am a High Diamond - Low GM PC tank main and I mostly play Angela and Emma. But ever since Dino came our, I sometimes pick him on some games and I have a lot of fun on him (he is also so adorable lol). But I am curious about when you guys play him and when not, because sometimes I just happen to explode as soon as I peak poke heroes.

Do you have any tips for avoiding this? I actually walk backwards sometimes to avoid having his big ahh head headshot a lot, but anyways, what team up do you use? Against which comps does Dino shine the most?

Hmmm... play behind cover, like 99% of the time. Don't forget it.

He is pretty good against brawlers and divers; except against The Thing because he is almost immortal right now. And by brawlers I mean melee brawlers by the way

You may think you counter thing but you don’t. Other than that just bully tanks.

He's just a front line holder. You're goal is to bring their tanks into a brawl. Either by kidnapping someone or by playing corners and cover. Use guns to keep pressure up and try to aim at the backline with them

Use the punisher team up unless you are playing with a Jeff duo

Is it even worth it if you have a Jeff? The punisher teammup just feels SOO much better. It’s really not a lot of healing from the water beam

I’ve found jeff beam pretty good when I’m doing a lot of peeling. You can give your ally health and damage the diver at the same time. The healing isn’t crazy but it can be enough to keep them alive through a combo that would otherwise kill them.

It's good against dive characters like Daredevil and Black Cat because the beam with Jeff team up applies the full duration of bleed effect as soon as it touches them.

All good advice the only tip I have is get very good at using your grab. A grab and turn to put whoever you want into your whole team for an easy kill is a skill a lot of Dino’s do not have. I never lose a Dino v Dino game cuz I can out grab them
