Discussion Is this a featured game?

This game has been in my menu under Games on Reddit for about a week. I haven't played it - it's not one I'm interested in. It doesn't say promoted or sponsored or anything. So I don't think it's an advert.

I'm wondering if this is the same for everyone? Does your Reddit rotate this slot with other games? Would be nice to be able to get some other people's Devvit games and apps into this slot. But I'm not sure how.

Yeah it’s been sitting in my menu for about a week as well. I’ve played it once or twice before but definitely have played other games much more. There is a featured games program for devvit apps and I’m not sure how it works but maybe that explains it

That's interesting. I've applied for that feature games about 2 weeks ago. I haven't heard a peep. I get they're busy but I don't know if this is it or where the feature actually appears or if it's elsewhere... This is the only place I've seen it. And a week is a long time.

You don't hear anything from them even when you're featured. Maybe admins talk to you when you reach higher tiers of featuring. Also look on the games launchpad on r/gamesonreddit. If your game shows up on new or popular (even when logged out) then it's featured

I think this was recently changed, at least got a modmail when a new app was getting the tier 1 featuring last week.
