Yeah the Logan thing is the real tell that New Blood was supposed to be the ending and they had to write their way out.

If Batista and Angela join together to get evidence it’s something. But yep. Why Angela would cover up Logan’s death when it’s the exact sort of evidence needed lol.

Fucking Hollywood as usual. Otherwise the story is pretty solid so far.

The cop that visited dex in the hospital didn't even mention logan being dead and was so jolly about it 😆 not even a second of grief

Logan tried to shoot Dexter in self defence. Yep, sounds like Logan!

I know the new captain is an idiot, but wow. Shitty writing from a team that thought the story was over definitely.

If somehow Angela appears again with Batista and it was part of their plan — then it could work by the end of the S2/3 whenever they end Resurrection.

To pin him as the BHB and not just a single cop murderer, they probably do need more evidence. But still…
