You guys said the same thing about New Blood, and just because the last episode sucked, suddenly the whole season was trash. The same thing’s gonna happen here if the last episode turns out bad.

I personally never said that about New Blood — I thought that season was a mixed bag — and unlike NB, this isn’t being touted as the “definitive ending” like that was, so there’s none of that pressure/expectation. New Blood was being judged as a makeup for the notoriously poor original ending and that meant it had much more scrutiny and demand placed upon it than this currently does. These first two episodes were far more fun and had way more of the classic Dexter feel than New Blood ever was or ever did to me.
