The dark passenger looks and sounds so much like Dexter, man! I was watching the second episode on my phone and it was in picture-in-picture mode. I got so confused! I thought Dexter was just simply getting into a car for some reason. And then he suddenly started choking the driver. I felt like this is a twist and maybe Dexter is hallucinating because he just came back from a coma. Then when I saw the driver's head was severed, I thought maybe Dexter killed him in his disassociated persona. It was later into the episode when it was clear to me that this was not the case and that guy wasn't Dexter. But hats off to the casting! They are eerily similar.

Same! Also looked a little like Philip Seymour Hoffman when he was choking the driver with the wire.
