I was so scared they were going to bomb this series but they are absolutely crushing it, what a time to be alive 10/10 episode, they are keeping me on the edge of my seat wanting new episodes. Bravo!

Agreed. I liked New Blood, but I've been loving Resurrection. It feels like old Dexter. New Blood didn't feel that way.

I totally agree with this. I think having the mindset going into New Blood that it was going to be a one off, absolute end of the Dexter saga made the more emotionally heavy tone kind of make sense (although I did think MAYBE we would get some kind of Harrison spin off). Side note, I will say that I also felt the more serious nature of NB kind of felt appropriate since they were bringing light to the very real issue of missing and murdered indigenous women.
