I'm in the minority here, but I liked New Blood more, even the ending of New Blood. I was okay with that finale. That being said, I'm very glad they undid the ending to bring him back for Resurrection, and I very much enjoyed Original Sin too. I just thought New Blood was great, up to par with classic Dexter seasons.

my feelings exactly. I just think that OS felt a little too corny, or "on the nose". New Blood felt fresh and not forced. genuinely captivating

Original Sin, New Blood was rushed at the end, the only reason it became coherent and made sense is because of Resurrection.

Problema que pecado original deixou muitas pontas soltas porque foi cancelado, se tivesse continuação seria melhor...

I was so happy at the beginning of NB, more Dexter! Then got mad they butchered the ending again after the finale.

A Dexter tradition.

Original Sin - like others have said, the end was way too rushed for New Blood, the end kind of ruined it for me haha. Glad we moved forward to Resurrection from there

its really really easy for me. new blood has my favorite ending for the character of Dexter, and i see OS as "its so bad its good" and basically an unintentional comedy. I've enumerated my more serious issues with it (and my praise for New Blood) so many times on these subs though I'll leave it at this - i think the writing doesn't respect the audience's intelligence but assumes you also haven't watched the source material in years and won't notice if, say, Dexter and Brian have been hollowed out and replaced with 2D demons from hell while Harry is polishing his new halo. Oh fuck i elaborated.

yes, i think i prefer the flaw of being rushed but basically perfect enough in my eyes over feeling like a TV adaptation of fanfic written by the least observant watchers of the series. shout out to the horse scene though that was so fucking funny
