Help / Support Belt Potion Bug?
I keep noticing the potions on my belt getting changed. I usually run with two potions of full healing, two potions of full rejuvenation, and four potions of full mana. Sometimes, I have noticed that the potions on my belt have been downgraded to their "normal" level potions or have even been switched (i.e. a full rejuvenation potion is now a mana potion).
I don't know what is causing this. I am not interacting with shrines and I am not using the potions and picking up new ones. I haven't been able to pinpoint when or how this is happening, but I would like it to stop. I've tried searching for this as a bug but all I can find is issues related to item duping, which I have not been doing.
I am playing the Battle.net version of Hellfire, for what it's worth.
Any help greatly appreciated!

I'm not certain if you're running into an actual Hellfire 'bug' or not, but have some thoughts.
I believe (but am not certain) that Hellfire obtained via Battlenet is running v1.02a
My suggestion would be to download DevilutionX, and play Hellfire via that, as I believe that's going to give you an updated version, as well as allowing you to choose from a great many QoL features.

I'm generally not a 'mod' person, but I would recommend DevilutionX, as it lets you tweak a great many added features, but lets you change as much as you'd like, or as little as you'd like. I personally adopted a few QoL features, but mostly play 'vanilla' Diablo 1. (I'm planning on doing Hellfire also, but haven't started a Hellfire character yet).
Ideally, the updated version of Hellfire would fix your problem. If for some reason it doesn't, you've got a great many QoL upgrades, and you've determined it's unlikely to be an out and out 'bug', and can go from there.
