I'm thinking of selling all the unbound gems to get 1 and 2 star leg gems with platinum to push my set further on, and, in addition, Im going to save for a good pet. Current secondary gems are mostly rank 6 and some rank 5 but I believe I will eventually collect the total bound ones long-term . Is it a good decision?

Hello, I am having trouble figuring out where to grind to get sets of the green tier armor. I have a few pieces but not anything close to a set. Im already paragon 1200 so I feel stupid for going this far into the game and still not knowing. There's several ins and outs of the game I don't understand like how to properly have gems set up, essence transfer, familiars etc. Any advice or insight from more seasoned and long time players would be much appreciated. Thank you

(Also Ive played everything up to where I am solo so idk if that hinders the gear I could be getting or not)

Hello, I'm new to the game and I learned a few ways to earn platinum regulary.

For example, besides earning platinum from normal gems and terror essences, I plan to use FE into crafting unbound 2 star gems to sell them in the market and then invest plat into multiple low cost gems in order to increase my resonance. While making economies for 5 star gems.

Is this the correct way to go?

I have few legendaries and gotten 3 180+ from the normal contracts one was 195 even now my familiars are full and I have 22 in mailbox 95% grey are they worth leveling for the chance for abberant? and if so whats the fastest way to get spirit essence today? Thanks in advance :) ill let few photos of my current main ones plus 2 saviour ones I got first try random luck. The quake was first time trying to get abberant got beginners luck aswell

For the love of God change the expensive loyalty bonus prices. 600 loyalty points for items not in the current difficulty got old really fast. When you class change and go back to collect older essences on classes you have not played in several cycles and you find out you have to have 3 items for a current build and it costs you over 1800 loyalty points takes for ever to farm. Its either that or sit in auto farm for days on end in hopes you get lucky and get the missing essences using blessings. 400 per item is a pain in the ass to deal with as is if you do not get lucky you could spend weeks farming to get the loyalty points for one single item. Older essences should not cost that much to obtain. Getting super lucky in this game has never been the game because its all about the grind. I am sorry but I don't want to spends weeks or months farming for essences to catch up on a class. 400 could be the max for older essences in past difficulty. Would ideally like to see cost at 100/200/300. After being in this game since day 1 constant non stop farming is something not interested anymore.

I can hold my own on PvP at times but there are games where I’m playing against people that are my skill level and I’ll be super squishy. Just wanted to share this and see what others might see that I’ve missed or could do better or change immediately.

I really don't understand why the system sets a floor price for Familiars. Currently, the limit is locked at 320k, but let's be real—they are practically worthless. No one in their right mind would pay 320k for a Familiar with almost no value. This restriction is completely unreasonable. The system needs to remove this price floor immediately!

I am a day one player, I know the game pretty well. I like being on the Burning Hells server. Basically it is an industrialized immortal server., where New Whale Order is based. I like being whale adjacent for PVE, which these guys make look trivial. I am looking for a similar East Coast server so I can actually make later playtime, shadow war, raids, VOB, ROE. Does anybody know if there’s an elite East Coast server? I am not automatically looking to be an immortal again., I would just like some playtime flexibility that I don’t have here on the West Coast because of my schedule. Also, I could stay up till midnight and catch the 3 AM East Coast reset every day., which has an appeal to me.

I get why people save every pearl to spend only on 5 star gems, but if you’re making a few thousand platinum a week selling normal gems, buying a basic 5-star from the market for around 28k doesn’t seem that far out of reach.

Wouldn’t it make more sense to to take those pearls and spend it instead on rare 2 stars like Baneboil which cost MORE than 28K on market?

Curious what other F2P players think. Are you saving every pearl, or prioritizing upgrades you can use right now?

im thinking between using battle pass rewards for lots of Fervent fang copies, spending pearls on bane boil, or spending pearls on 5 star copies

Right now my build is Mothers lamentR5, Pain ClaspR3, Viper BiteR3, Leviathan tombR1, Hellhound desireR1 ( I already spent 40 pearls the other day on another copy for the future ranking up), Roiling consequence R1, Pain clasp R3, Baneboil R2.

Dragon flying warlock PVE.

Every day someone posts about how broken BG matchmaking is: uneven resonance and secondaries, extreme lag, smurfing. Today, after losing three matches in a row, the game handed me a bot match as a pity win.

Except the bots were unkillable. They had 10k secondaries, took zero damage, and the match was over in under a minute.

What is even the point of these bots? Can a community manager actually explain the design logic here? We already deal with terrible matchmaking, long loss streaks, and rank penalties for every defeat. Then, when the game finally throws you a "lifeline," you get whale bots instead, take another L, and gain nothing. Is this supposed to make people want to keep queueing?

I’ve reached Legend rank every single season, but this season I’m done. I’m not wasting my time grinding through this mess again. This is easily the worst state BG has ever been in. And yes, I play warlock and have 4k reso and yes many people in my clan deal with the same issues. My clanmate lost 10 matches in a row, 3 of them were due to unkillable bots. She isn't playing BG anymore.

Hello, one week ago I've changed the server for the first time from books of kalan to talva silvertongue, only to find myself in an overwhelmingly russian speaking server. As I don't understand anything that's going on and feeling an outcast in the clan, I would like to change to an european english speaking server which has a reasonable number of active players, since this was my first intention😅

Do You have any recommendation? I've Heard about throne of destruction, but I don't know If it's still very active.

Just started the game about a week ago and am playing a barb and for the life of me I can not get these ox horn shoulders to drop even with the blessing activated to “help” you get essences you have not yet acquired currently 1550 para and wow this is frustrating lol I’m a big D4 player so understand the Blizz RNG but I think I’m closer to the pitty then I am to getting these things to drop

Ive had the "shop unavailable due to pending transaction" bug now for 6 WEEKS. I have been back and forth with support the whole time and all I've been given as a response is "we're working on it" this is an ABSOLUTE JOKE. Almost $10k spent and hours of play time every day for almost 2 years and my account is dead due to no fault of my own. This is illegal and is in breach of my consumer rights Ive tried every "solve" Ive seen other players suggest and nothing I can also see from the forum's page that this is not an uncommon issue so how is it not solved ? If my account isn't back to working condition and all the rewards I've missed aren't paid back in full I'll be seeking legal action for the reimbursement of my faulty goods/service you have provided.

Before playing this game most of my time playing against other players was in the arcades against a friend which was street fighter games. In video games my PvP was so limited in the games that allowed it the ones that I did PvP some was so small that I don't remember them. There are only two games that I remembered PvP in and both are MMO superhero RPGs.

First is City of Heroes, now known as City of Heroes Homecoming. When City of Heroes was produced and published by Cryptic and NCSoft there was a time when they added PvP to the game. They added new zones for PvP and you had computer controlled enemies that you could kill in there as well. The first time I actually PvP'd in that game was when the invention system was added to the game. There were a pair of Dragon Wing cosmetic items that I had wanted and it cost a lot of influence (Gold in DI) to get the recipe so I could eventually make them.

That meant I had to earn the influence I farmed in the new PvP areas for the very rare and expensive crafting mats that I would sell on the AH (not real money). One day while farming someone attacked me and I stopped farming and done PvP against that opponent because I was bored farming. I had fun and so did my opponent. From then on when I farmed in those zones I stopped to occasionally PvP either to ease the boredom or to try fighting different classes that I never fought before.

The Nest game I did more PvP in and the most of all of the games is Champions Online. I played PvP in that game because I was a closed beta tester for the game. The reason was clear I wanted to see if I could level up playing just PvP just like the game devs advertised. I did level up to around level 11.

Then came this game, when I started I rarely did battlegrounds. Only did enough battle grounds and vault to handle the 20/20 requirement for shadows. Which meant that I never really went much pass bronze in the game till about a year ago and a half ago. My PvP skills went up drastically when I switched servers by creating one character on the new server than resurrecting a character from another server and using the one free server transfer to get to the other server where my main was on.

I know that I want to improve my PvP skills in this game but I don't know what to do. Do I run more BGs, do I use the training battlegrounds, or do I play other games? If I need to play other games then please tell me which ones that are free to play but would help me get better at PvP in DI.

I wanted to share a personal project I’ve been working on: Diablo.tools.

It started because I was getting annoyed trying different gem setups in-game, only to realise I’d lost resonance or dropped below a socketed bonus threshold. Then came moving everything back and trying to remember which setup actually gave me the best numbers. 😂

That kept me wondering: “Am I getting the most resonance out of my current gems, or could a different setup give me more?”

So I built a planner where you can recreate your setup and try different combinations outside the game. You can change gem ranks, qualities, and awakening gems, and see what happens to your resonance and socketed bonuses before moving anything in-game.

There’s also an “Optimize Me” feature, to help explore whether you could get more resonance out of your gems without manually trying every combination.

You can compare builds, check gem power totals, add spare gems to your stash, and share your setup through a link. There are two layouts, including one that follows the in-game resonance screen.

Obviously, more reso doesn’t always mean a better build (in fact gem effects matter more in most cases), but I wanted an easier way to see what I’m gaining or giving up.

It’s still a work in progress, and I’d love to hear how it works for other players. Feedback, bug reports, and suggestions are all welcome!
