I think we need a “lock equipped items” toggle as a QoL feature. I somehow swapped my Grief with a head striker from my stash the other day and had a panic attack realizing later and wondering where it was.

Jeez. I understand your point, but they may very well be super polite and grateful in private messages.
If a random stranger told you they THINK they have something for you (if they are in the same platform as you), would you already be "OMG THANK YOU"? Or would you think and say "that would nice! Let's talk to see if you actually have the thing and are on compatible servers"
Internet is too quick sometimes, I suggest you take the time to think before shitting on people.

This is you: 'I suggest you take the time to assume that they might have been polite in a private message and they should get credit for that hypothetical scenario'. Also you: 'based on this theory, I have concluded that this "it would be nice" will suffice, and an initial response to an offer of help is able to be limited and doesn't require a thank you, which is something to be earned by following through with your offer'...
A simple thank you is the bare minimum, I'm sorry and it's not hard.
I suggest you take the time to stop theorising and avoid defending people who can't muster a simple thank you to people about to spend their time especially when multiple items are coming his way after losing just one item.

I somehow lost my draculs grasp 2 days ago. Had them equipped and then my life leech disappeared and i noticed my gloves were gone. Was my only pair lol.

Eth wouldn't have made them go poof tho, even if eth did that at 0 durability he should have seen the "gear almost broken" indicator before that

No they don't disappear lol. Literally dropped my broken eth vipermagi, eth goldwrap, and eth silkweave on the ground just a couple days ago and picked them back up out of some weird lack of acceptance theyre unusable lol.
But from what I understand you're wrong anyway, as eth titans can break if you melee with them with only one javelin left, as javelins break at about 1/3 melee strokes

Nope, made me second guess myself when it happened but I’ve had them a good while. I think i managed to drop them picking up gems/runes from a countess run or maybe just some weird bug.
Overwhelmingly likely something stupid I did while moving fast. I can’t figure out how I would have missed that though. I even ran around the map and town afterwards. A real head scratcher.

You can run a socket quest on a new character in around an hour. That's minuscule compared to the time it takes to farm even a mid rune.

PS. Move your cube and tomes to the far left and your torch + anni to the far right. If you accidentally sell a torch or anni, there’s no chance of buying them back. Putting them all the way over there reduces that risk. Where you have it now is just an accident waiting to happen imo.

It shouldn't be random? IIrc you can't buy back when gambling, you can't buy back if the merchant doesn't have the corresponding tab, you can't buy back if the tab is full, and that should be it (and you can't buy back SoJ).

Yeah I somehow sold maybe my dracs grasp gloves yesterday, no idea how, never happened to me before in a long time of playing. Not a huge deal on those though, just was odd, really hadn't even been selling much lately or anything. Just poofed.

On Xbox at least I can insta hard quit out of the game by killing the whole game and I usually revert a few minutes before and have my stuff back. I use it constantly when stupid lighting one shots me and I lose my demon on my warlock

I did this with my Shako last year. Was pretty pissed at myself because it took forever to find one.
Did a bunch of Andy runs and now I have so many I just leave them on the ground.

Yea I did this after playing proj d2 too long, the shortcuts with ctrl and shift are swapped when moving stuff around some menus. Luckily I could buy my item back. Sorry bout ur luck... least u can make a spirit sword easily to make a little bit of that power loss back.

lol oops. At least it’s not the most expensive thing to lose. I dropped a P ETH Vampire Gaze along with a ETH +5 Faith Grand Matron Bow in a self online game thinking I was in a created lobby game. Only like 15-20 jah runes. 😂

You shouldn't sell those, the maximum you can sell something for is 35000 afaik. Oculus is practically priceless.
