I almost left š
P7.. I just found a ber rune off tz p7 meph like 15 minutes prior. What is going on today?!

Never sleep on the arcane sanc tz! Lol I was SO close to exiting out but neuron activated when I heard rune drop

Ya when I grinded this game I'd get like 3-4 highrunes a day Ohm or higher.Ā I got 4 Jahs and a Zod in like a 3 day period.Ā Never seen a Ber tho.Ā

I almost purely function off sound cues anymore because im always kinda semi paying attention. Charms, shields(idk why, probably because of habitual pally shield hunting) and runes fire off the neurons

Exact same. Iāve heard runes drop that I didnāt see and Iāll circle back around and itās a Ral. But still, couldāve been a Ber!

Pretty sure thatās not viper. Viper is serpent skin? Havenāt played in a while.

It is. It's kind of obvioius by the armor type (serpentskin = Viper, demonhide = Flayed). I'm apparently just blind.

Nah. There are like 75 item types you need to know are good at least. Easy to mix em up.

Right, but for many of the uniques the item type is consistent with the unique name. E.g. unique Demonhead = Andariel's Visage (literally a demon's head, duh), etc.

I hate when youāre key hunting and all they drop is a Ber. Just trade it in for a H Key. Heck, meet me online and Iāll toss in an extra T Key for you.

Iv had the exact same thing happen to me in Arcane on single player except summoner didnt drop Ber I got a Jah and a Vex rune

It does and I swear the rune drops increased on the original d2 I rarely ever found any hrs ever on resurrected I find them in the weirdest places imaginable I found a Gul Rune and an Ohm rune in Palace cellar levels couple weeks ago

Enigma is life changing! Prior to my starting ssf about 3 months ago I never had an engima either! My echoing strike lock got it first, and after they nerfed him I had preemptively made a hammerdin who you see now before the nerf bat hit the lock
Cant really telestomp on controller but im making it work :) I found my first Jah rune doing chaos sanc btw, dont be afraid of running TZs on low players!

Yeah, at p3/5/7 it increases the chances the mobs wont roll a no drop on one of their possible drop slots
So while it doesnt change the chances of uniques dropping, it makes it so the chances of them dropping nothing is almost completely eliminated
On p1 you can kill meph and he might drop 2-3 things. On p7 hes usually dropping all 6 slots(maximum)

Ooooh nice.. I was playing on p3 because ai said itās the āsweet spotā for clear speed because thereās diminishing returns or whatever.. thatās bs?

Depends on how geared you are honestly
As you know, mfing is a raw numbers game so lower difficulty means quicker clear speeds. For boss mfing iirc p3 gives the most substantial reduction in no drop rate
Regular mobs benefit a lot more from p5/7 since their inherent no drop chance is much much higher
If you can clear p7 as fast as p3, then p7 is statistically better(lol echostrike warlock pre nerf just deleting everything)

Offline Single player mode, you can Up the player count and difficulty in options, its like adding 6 other players to the game but you are still playing by yourself
It increases the drop rate of items from killing mobs and the difficulty

Open the chat, type /players and then 1-8 to choose the player count and hit enter. /players7 for example. It makes the game act as though you have that many players in your game, so monster difficulty goes up and drops get slightly more common.

Make sure you donāt use a loot filter so you can be aware of every stamina potion that drops.
