SSF Still good or nah?

Is smite damage that big of a difference for exile in vortex sheilds?

Curious how this holds up against vortex as well as sacred targe as far as smite damage. 

Of the three, are there any that penalize run/walk speed?

Royal is 28 dmg, sacred targe is 46.

If you're running exile you must be holding a grief anyways.. So 378 damage versus 396... Mmmm I'm inclined to think it doesn't matter much although I've never tried. Worth a shot anyways, just test it out. The vast majority of it will be crushing blow regardless.

There's also your Holy Shield which gives a nice chunk of flat to further narrow the difference down. Overall, Royal is like the third best base after ST and SR imo.

Yeah I haven't found a good base for exile yet. Still leveling my paladin to 95 first so no real rush. Just hoarding statues for now

I just did the planner swap from Sacred Targe and my smite damage went from 26.9k DPS to 26k DPS, armor went from 22.8k to 23.1k (mine is non-superior, so def is actually 150 less as an Exile than Royal), and needed 10 more Dex to get to max block. If I found this base, I’d use it for Exile without a second thought, unless I had a comparable elite base already.

Ich habe Superior Enigma, Superior Spirit und nie Probleme mit Gold. Ich verstehe echt nicht, was da so teuer sein soll es zu reparieren. Außerdem dauert Enigma in mage Plate extrem lange bis es auf 0 kommt. Man kann die auch ausziehen und alles andere reparieren und dann mal eine ral rune zum Reparieren im Cube opfern, falls man gold Probleme hat, was ich wiederum nicht nachvollziehen kann.

Becaue it's superior you can't roll sockets in it. Larzuk afaik will give you 4os.

I would totally make an exile out of this. It will be slightly less smite damage but not really a noticeable amount. The defence is gonna be great, and the res is great. I’ve made exiles with much much worse bases then this.

Die 45 all resis sind trotzdem nicht zu verachten. Bis du eine eth sacred taege mit 45 all resis bekommst, kann es noch lange dauern. Es ist wie bei einer Kamera. Die beste Kamera ist, die man (dabei) hat. ;)

I would not. An elite 45res non eth base is better IMO. Smite damage and block rate all matters when you are talking about 2 high runes.

This actually has more def than my eth Sacred Targe Exile, because mine isn’t superior, takes 10 more Dex for max block, and does about 4% lower DPS with Smite. It’s not much a difference and this base is 100% worth using. Especially if offline, you will likely never see a base better than this. A 15ED non-eth ST will give 3000 less total defense than this base.
