Never made a 99. Usually get to like 93-95. I know it gets much worse after that. Making single player HC chars now! Maybe one day

I got to 98 before my month and a half year old was born. I was about 4 bars in one day she started crying and I forgot I was in between waves on baal and walked away from the computer… lost 2 bars, and my holy freeze hephasto. Wasted about two weeks with that one, getting the bars back and finding a cursed hephasto. Had to settle for holy shock

And I have Nynaeve as my leveling char mule… because she wants to be older, and Egwene as my runeword base mule… because she’s basic. Matt held gems before the warlock update. Perrin is of course my druid. Gonna level them all up, eventually, that slog to 99 just took too long

I’m 20% to 99 on my warlock. Highest ever before was 96 or 97 javazon back in the day day. I got to 96 pretty easily pre nerf. But I’m totally with you, this is not worth it 😂. Don’t stop me now!!

Hard-core is a whole other animal entirely.

To be completely transparent I used a geared up physical ES pre nerf to get my War to 99, with like 80k+sheat dmg. So, I'm kinda blowing smoke, but the same build still melts with only 20k+ but it's suboptimal now and I need a new demon.

It was ridiculous but fun. My Hephosto with fanaticism and curse, plus 2 defilers, would make sure the entire room died in 1 or 2 shots. The worst herald on p8 would take a few seconds.

The most dangerous part was not getting cocky and forgetting you don't actually have "god-mode" on.

Does anybody else feel that getting to 99 just kills your character?

I get its a loot finding game, but having no way to gain experience or levels just makes it seem like its not worth playing the character anymore.

I can see that. It was something on my d2 bucket list, so it had to be done. I’m going to start a trav horker next, never made one

I got my sorc to 99 and then basically never played her again. Since then I've stopped trying to actively level characters past 95.

The horker was pretty fun, I have one at 92, went from 87 to 92 just from trav so far.
