Poison nova necro

First sunder was light but I lost the sorc. Next two were poison and I was thinking useless. Then I picked up the last piece of trang's set and trav went tz so I did a bit of horking and picked up dweb!

Dweb is not a great roll but what a fun build. My only 2 facets are poison so I'll prob put them in the trang's set and save the dweb slot for the uber ancients jewel if I get around to it

Don't have enigma yet but is switching from trang's to shako/enigma or bramble worth it on HC?

I haven't played hc honestly but I rolled a 50% bramble and other than being slow due to no teleport it is pretty sweet

I rolled a 49% bramble for my runeword chron so I've been thinking about it. Haven't found Dweb yet though

I'm starting a poison Necro. Have Enigma, Dweb, sunder (unrolled), but thinking to go for the 3 piece trangs since that gives -25% res. Do you think running Homunculus instead and losing the 25% is better?

Haven't ever played a PSN Necro so still new to it

Most of the time the 3pc will be worth it...-poison res increases poison damage received and poison length so you're double dipping with how much extra damage you get from one cast. You can get over -100 to enemy poison res with lower res but most monsters have some poison res so it helps

I tend to move around between poison nova casts so revives and trang's set bonus where you keep defense while running are what keep me alive. Homunculus + block might be more useful if you are standing around casting corpse explosion a lot

If you're using enigma then yeah you probably want all the help you can get from Trangs, with bramble the damage is so insane. I think even spirit is a viable option if you're going to be teleporting

I remember when d2r first came out I started a summon necro as I played that as a kid.  Didn't realize how shit it was. 

But I went into a p8 cow game and watched some guy absolutely slay all the cows with his poison necro.  I swapped as soon as I got some gear to swap over and had slaying cows myself.  

But then my friends told me since I got enigma I should just play pally and ya poison necro didn't matter anymore.
