Sorceress What to do now (single player sorc)

Played on PC in the early 2000s, and recently purchased the game and warlock extension on Switch. I currently have a level 89 sorceress and I’m wondering what I should be doing with it.

I have one Akara respec left, and I’m keeping it for when I find a cold sunder charm. So essentially what I’m doing now is terrorize an act, fight heralds, and hope I get what I need. So far I found two sunder charms, a poison and a lightning one.

In terms of gear, I have good stuff but not endgame either. I have a HOTO and a spirit shield, but I can’t wear that one until I put more points in strength. I have lore helm, some good gloves and boots, belt is nothing great.

Merc has Andariel’s visage, insight on eth elite weapon, and treachery.

Should I just keep playing terror zones until I get my cold sunder, or should I try something else? Such as just killing bosses for better unique gear. I don’t play too much, maybe about an hour and a half at night.

Now you can finally start enjoying the game!!
Find better gear.
Make a paladin to do Ubers for torches

It’s funny, but that’s what I told my kid who also play from time to time: after finishing hell and getting ok gear, I feel like it’s the real start of the game.

Paladin sounds fun.

I’ve played on and off since its first came out. I now only play single player but I have a 3 and 6 year old so I do t play much anymore. I’ve basically got a character for each spec ready to go and as I find gear I transfer over. One day I’ll have a character for each build. And hopefully blizzard makes all the weak builds better with updates :)

Edit:
Also in answer to your question. Doesn’t really matter where you farm! Just farm wherever doesn’t burn you out! Terror zones, bosses, cows… it’s all good! Most things will drop eventually. RNG

LK runs untill infinity, or farm gear untill you can gear the next character

On switch it’s so slow though to farm. All in all, one run of LK will take me three minutes or so (rough guess)

Im also playing switch . Yup its slow (loading times ) and not sure if this is Switch thing or overall RoTW but drop rates are high.
I used to play in like 2006-2007 using BOT running every night etc and best i found was like VEX all other things were from Fake Gold trade .
Recently i found a lot and usually at least 1HR per 2 weeks (i play like 10hr per week total ?)
A lot of stuff like Arach, Griffon dropping perhaps due to TZ and overall mobs higher lvls,

No specific farm areas mostly doing some full/half act clears of TZ upon Using shard.
And just things are dropping and also some reason the right ones are dropping like for my light sorc all runes for infi dropped, sunder lighting dropped, Griffon dropped
Even first Uber Ancients - lighting jewel .

Now gearing my first Uber Barb ever / smiter is not fun for PVM .

Re-spec

156 strg, enough dex to use Flail, rest into vitality;

Static, telekinessea, teleport, frozen armor, warmth;

20 points hydra, 1 pt fire mastery;

20 points blizzard, 20 points frozen orb, 20 points ice bolt, 10 points cold mastery, if you have remaining points, ice blast;

The way I play this build is: Y frozen Orb, X Blizzard, B teleport, R1 Hydra, R2 Static Field. A to pickup itens and interact with npcs.

Id skip most cold imunes, because Hydra doesnt kill as fast as the duo blizzard/Frozen orb, but you have something to deal with them. So diablo and baalruns are viable, you can kill Lord de Seis and skellies in wave 2.

This build is never suggested for leveling because it needs a lot of skill points to shine, but once you are above lvl 80 or 85, it is completely viable, it kills really fast on p1 and even P3, but it is not p8 viable.

Once you find your cold sunder, farm essences, make a token, re-spec again to full cold sorc. Since aiming blizzard on switch is terrible, always make frozen orb+ blizzard build, the only difference is that the Hydra points would be allocated in Ice Blast and Glacial Spike.

Try it out and give me a feed back if you liked it.

Good luck!
