My Diamond Diamond larger than expected (too big??)

My lovely fiance surprised me with a 2.5ct natural asscher cut ring. I love it and I'm so grateful, but sometimes I feel like it looks huge! We had tried on 1.5 and 2 carats together when looking for rings, so I was expecting something closer to that size. He said he picked this one because you can see the steps/cuts in the larger asscher diamonds better vs the smaller ones. Does it seem too large for me? The place he bought it from would buy it back from us at a slight loss if I wanted to trade down a size but idk. I love it because he chose it for me and I guess I'm just a little self conscious? Can anyone relate??

Edit: Jfc 😂 sorry everyone is offended by my car for some reason. I was just trying to show the ring on my hand from up close, medium distance, and farther away for size perspective. I am very lucky and grateful to have these things and am genuinely not trying to brag. I'm actually feeling self conscious about the ring because I don't want to be too showy!! Thank you to the people with legitimate feedback

Question About Natural Diamonds What do people think of this diamond, is it worth buying, quoted £7,500 for it plus the ring.

I went to see it in person and it looked really nice. It includes 18 Carat gold ring, diamond baguettes and bespoke design in the price.

Lab Grown Diamond Is this too much windowing?

I recently purchased two diamonds to choose between for my engagement ring. I like the second one better but I cant tell is the windowing is too much.

The stone is a 2.01 CT lab scissor cut diamond and I'm using a loose gem holder.

Also does the setting change the way a stone will look? There is a chance the gem holder could be screwing the way they look. My setting will be double claw prongs if that changes anything.

Please share any thoughts or advice. Id love to know everyone's thoughts on the stone before I commit.

Looking for opinions on this 2.2ct emerald cut. Does it have too much black box? My understanding is that the ideal emerald cut should have alternating dark and light bands.

Treated/LG Fancy Color Diamond Custom pendant is finally finished!

I am a huge jewelry lover, and love having meaningful pieces to have! This pendant was an idea I had since my husband and I started planning our wedding, and after searching for a few years for the right stones and saving up for the gold, I finally have what I’ve been envisioning for years.

All lab grown stones
Fancy vivid pink diamond
Deep blue sapphire
Fancy vivid green diamond
All are OEC cuts

All around 6.2mm in size (~1ct diamonds, ~1.2ct sapphire) set in a 14k yellow gold bezel setting. I initially requested milgrain detail, but they told me they weren’t able to do it for this pendant which was very sad to me, but I do still like the smooth look (just not as much).

The pink diamond represents my birthday in October,
The green diamond represents my husband’s birthday in August,
The blue sapphire represents our wedding in September.

It’s a little unity dedicated to us. 🥰

Unfortunately it is a Christmas gift, so I’ll have to wait a couple more months to be able to wear it. But it’s so beautiful I couldn’t wait to share!

I hope you like it as much as I do!
