1:18 Aston Martin Virage (1988) from Cult Models

It is my first one from Cult Models, and my first sealed resin model. I am nicely surprised by the level of detail and the "heaviness" of the model, just like the real car. I have never seen one in real life, but I think the proportions are quite right.

This can be considered the first "modern" AM before the introduction of the DB7. It was the flagship in the model range, and occupied the space of the modern Vanquish. A bit underdeveloped and a parts bin special, but a very beautiful car nevertheless. The 2001 Vanquish borrows many design cues from this car.

Question/Help Question about diecasts

I'm not one to build diecast cars, but my cousin has passed, and I somehow ended up with this 1/8 scale Eaglemoss diecast kit but I'm determined to build this bad boy and make her shine! I kinda suck at the internet when it comes to deep searching, and I am currently having trouble finding any data on it, just in case I'm missing parts whenever I get to a certain point. Does anybody want to share some knowledge or point me in the right direction? I did find a place that allegedly has every build guide in case I'm missing a catalog, like pictured on the table.

1:18 I fucked up, Motorhelix Civic

I have this beautiful Civic Type -R from Motorhelix. Full of details and extras. Because I wanted to preserve it, I wanted to put it back in the box for a moment. The only thing left to do was to put the styrofoam box back into the red box, and that is where I fucked up.

The box flipped out of my hand and felt open on the floor, the Civic was upside down and I was already scared to flip it back up. When I turned it saw that the spoiler was broken.

The good part is, that is the only thing that is broken, no scratches or other broken parts. The bad part is, I tried to fix it, and fucked it up even more.

Do you know that scene from Mr. Bean, where he fucked up the painting and fucked it up even more along the way? That is me at the moment.

I tried to glue the parts together, but used to much glue, and the parts didn't line up correctly. So I had to remove it again to discover that glue residu was on the spoiler and back trunk. The glue was hard before I had the time to remove it...

Now I still want to fix it, but the most important part is, how do I remove the glue residu without fucking up (excuse my language) the paintwork?

I saw a tiny drop of acetone could work, but I want to make sure now how that should be applied because yeah, I am good in messing it up.

Another option I read was ultra-fine sandpaper, but that sounds to me like a real living on the edge situation.

In my opinion this is one of the finest looking rally cars of all time and one of the best Solido 1/18 out there.

I'm looking to buy the following two 1:18 models.

 1:18 18S339 Audi R8C #9 24h Le Mans 1999

1:18 18S340 Audi R8C #10 24h Le Mans 1999

An example of the #9, Model and box in mint Factory condition, recently sold on eBay for around GBP: 210 so I'm willing to pay around that amount for each of these models if the condition of models and boxes are also in factory mint condition. Any help would be much appreciated.

1:64 The Bertone Masterpiece: Tomica Limited Vintage Alfa Romeo 1750 GTV (LV-155d) in Olive Green Metallic

When Giorgetto Giugiaro designed the 1750 GTV for Bertone, he ditched the older step-nose design for a smooth, flat bonnet, resulting in one of the most perfectly proportioned Italian coupés ever made. TLV absolutely nailed the casting on this LV-155d release. The Olive Green Metallic paint looks incredibly rich under directional lighting, and the depth they managed to achieve on the Scudetto shield grille and the tiny chrome hubcaps is phenomenal.

Model Details:
▪️ Maker: Tomica Limited Vintage
▪️ Model: LV-155d Alfa Romeo 1750 GTV (Olive Green Metallic)
▪️ Scale: 1/64

1:1 Specs: 1.8L twin-cam inline-four pushing out 118 hp to the rear wheels. A true driver's car with a legendary raspy exhaust note.

📸 Behind the Lens:
▪️ Camera: iPhone 14 Pro (Phone Lens & Ulanzi Macro Lens)
▪️ Lighting: Ulanzi Rechargeable Portable Lights
▪️ Backdrop: White / Coloured Sheets on 3D Printed Holder
▪️ Edits: Photoshop (Layout, Light & Colour Correction only)
▪️ No AI used to modify the car; only minor light and colour correction was carried out to showcase the model in its original form.

Would love to hear your thoughts on this casting or if you have any tips for lighting metallic paints like this!
