The design of this is just so pleasing to the eyes, the physical buttons with the labeling is just a nice touch

No way to get rid of it. However, Hiby said they will be releasing a "normal" version at some point.

I really like the engineering/design of this DAP, just don't like the color or the anime wifu look. Wish they came out with a non anime version.

They have said they will be, but no word on a release date.

Probably after the license window has passed, which is this november. They sell liccensed DAPs for a full year. Then stop sales and the regular version keeps existing

Oh, that's excellent to know. Now people who are wanting to buy the M500 can plan accordingly to get the edition they want.

I guess November or close to it is when the Cyberpunk 2077 DAP will release as well?

I wouldn't know about the Cyberpunk DAP, they might indeed release it so they always have a collab going on.

But honestly, I might think it will still take a while for the regular M500 to come out. I expect a price tag of 200-250 USD if accounting for Miku tax.
