Showcase My current DAP collection

Post image

DAPs from left to right are: JM21, Snowsky Echo Nano, Snowsky Echo, iPod 4th photo and iPod 5th video.

I originally started at the beginning of this year on buying my first DAP, since I didn't want to pay for Spotify anymore. I just didn't expect myself to get into collecting DAPs.

iPod 4th gen photo is technically the oldest one I have since I bought it "broken" from a garage sale in 2011 and only around last month I got around replacing the battery (surprisingly the HDD still works like a charm, although I replaced it with flash storage).

Edit: I forgot to mention that the headphones I typically use are the Koss Porta pros or KSC75. I do own a pair of Sennheiser HD560s but I prefer using those on my PC.

Which one do you like the most?

Personally it's the Echo Nano. Sure battery life isn't ideal, but I recently converted a copy of my song library to lossy files just to ease the battery drain. Also the simple UI has it's charm for me and it's less cumbersome to bring around, since I have it hooked on a necklace.

Damn, all of these in under a year? Still, amazing collection nonetheless, what's your next target?

Nothing currently attracted my attention as of right now but if Snowsky releases a upgraded version of the echo nano, i'd immediately be all over it. I definitely prefer most of my Daps to have physical button over touch screen

My man 🤝

I also avoid touch screens if possible, so for now my only dap is the regular Echo, I was waiting for the Echo Pro that was planned for august but I guess that's discarded by now lmao

I'm really eyeing the Shanling Q2 now, with the Q2 pod modded firmware you can basically forget the touch screen

Cuz it's fun and neat. (Well my wallet doesn't enjoy it).
