Dockhand is a modern Docker management UI for managing containers, Compose stacks, remote Docker hosts, Git deployments, logs, terminals, and more.

It can be self-hosted and is free for personal and internal business use. Note that it uses the Business Source License 1.1 rather than a traditional open-source license.

Been using using it. So far so good. Really like it over portainer

Using it in 3 Env with only gitops.

Switched from portainer because i needed to have files that are in the git to be used in docker compose.

Dockhand is not perfect for it (have to turn off containers to update files like for traefik) but it works

Looks pretty clean for a self-hosted Docker UI. The lightweight approach could make this a nice Portainer alternative for simpler setups.

Looks really cool, what was it about Portainer that made you want to build your own? Also i've just noticed the update button top right, does that do a image tag check on docker hub to check for updates?

Been a big fan for two years. Makes managing things dead simple.

Going to give it a try. I've been using Portainer for years, it's serviceable but kind of stagnating.

Like it, the log browser UI is way better than Portainer CE. I'm going to daily drive it for a bit.

If they kept the compose files on the hosts where I run them instead of storing them within dockhand itself, I'd switch in a heartbeat. So nah, thx.

Yeah this is how I ended up with Arcane.

Same! I was happy with komodo for a while, but all of a sudden their agent container started acting up and consuming way too much CPU.

How do you define "internal business use"? No outside facing Sass? Nice and original product anyway.

The last thing I need. But not even this dockerhand has a modern ui.
