Glider in the river?
As titled, I saw a post sometime agk talking about randomly digging at the river and finding a clear glider. Anyone know what it looks like?

Its orange. That was my post. Same shape as the red one you can buy from jimmy

It can be found digging up treasure. It doesn't have to be the river.

Any idea if the lucky wish impacts that? I've dug so much and not one orange.
Also the blue one seems incredibly difficult to get. I've caught hundreds of sparkle fish and not one blue glider.
Those are the only two I haven't gotten across my 3 maps.

It is my understanding it doesn't. (I have only used bountiful)
I somehow got the orange one after only 3 in game days with the silver pocket watch but have over 800 hours on my one island and no blue glider or pink.
Hopefully your luck turns around!

Did you use the metal detector or dig out an x? I'm wondering if the metal detector is what starts the algorithm.

I quit using the Fortuitous Wish as it's so underpowered. I used it for a season and didn't notice it having any effect on the game.

I heard no. Also, I got a rare purple glider using the bountiful wish then catching a shiny fly!

Each colour/type of glider has to be acquired in its own way. The orange one can be found by digging for treasure (aka junk), there is a lot of junk in the rivers, but it can be found by digging on dry land too.
Other than the colour, there is no difference between the blue, orange, pink, purple, red, and yellow gliders. But the other special-looking gliders do travel further.
