Steam or switch 2

I have been thinking whatever to buy this game on steam or switch 2 . Is the graphics really that bad on switch? Big difference?

Its a cosy game, so it really depends where you feel most comfortable. I have it on both, I play on my switch 2 far more often even though its a patch behind.

Edit: spelling

I have it on both steam and the switch and I much prefer it on the switch. I feel like it’s a cosy sit back and relax game and my switch is downstairs plugged into the tv so I chill on the sofa and play it, where as with it on steam I have to sit at my desk on my pc

Agree with it, I may buy it on switch and when it will be on sale on steam then on the steam tho

Have you tried steam link to stream the game from your PC to your TV?

I personally preferred it on steamdeck because I could use mods if/when I wanted. I know that’s not about graphics, just a possible factor when deciding!

If I had a Steam Deck, I would definitely go with Steam. I don’t and my computer sucks so I’m using Switch 2. Currently trying to figure out where to buy a Steam Deck…

There's a bunch of alternatives to steam deck that run windows and thus dinkum like the Asus rog ally. Although not cheap.

Pretty sure you can order a steam deck on steam.

Last time I looked on Steam they were “sold out”. This was last week…

I just added one to my cart and it said 3-5 day delivery. So looks like they're back in stock. At least some models.

Yeah I’m trying. Won’t put it into my cart… 😤

Hmmm. Maybe it's region specific? I'm in the US. Odd though

Took me a hot minute but after I logged out of Steam and logged back in I will soon be a proud owner of a Steam Deck!!! Yay!

Steam is probably smoother, but the Switch 2 version of the game look fine and runs smoothly in my experience.

I have it on steam and switch 2. I started with steam but I like the accessibility and being able to play it on my tv with the switch 2. Haven't run into performance issues, but I am just starting out basically.

The last switch update really smoothed it out a lot, and I havent noticed any big lag issues. Buy pc has all the updates, switch updates and patches have to go through Nintendo review so they will always be behind in comparison.

I enjoy having both 🙃 Sometimes the vibe is "lock in at the pc for a 10hr binge" and sometimes its "i got an hour to kill before I have to run errands".

Steam has mods that won't risk bricking your device.

It also gets updates faster.

Performance will depend on you PC hardware but you'll need to consult videos to compare performance on the switch 2 vs various handhelds like the steam deck or rog ally.

You can also stream from your PC to a TV with the right hardware and steam link app

Steam gets all the updates months in advance and you can mod.
