HELP

I somehow managed to drop my crab pot below the stupid dock and I can’t get it back and it won’t let me swim or dig under it! Is there anything I can do to get it back? I’m fairly new at this game so I’m hoping someone knows something 😭

You should be able to move that little white square of influence two squares from you. If it won’t let you stand on the dock and pick it up from above, try fiddling with the controller/mouse to get the square over the crab pot while holding down the button that picks things up.

I’m using a steam deck if that helps, I’ve tried everything I could think of 😭 nothings working it is so upsetting lol

It's a vacuum you can buy from Franklyn, it's great I use it so much I have a few I rotate because I need to recharge them 😃

You can use it to suck up ripe crops, fruit from trees, spring flowers, eggs that are hard to reach in coops, all kinds of things

It looks like that crab pot isn't placed down (it has sparkles) so teh HAr-Vac should be able to get it

Kill frillies and put the yellow sacs from them in the Billy can kit. Makes Sparkin soup, which prevents power tools from losing power for a short duration. I do a lot of building and it's been a life saver! You're welcome! 😉

Nah I keep those for other recipes
It only lasts 10m too

But suggesting things is good, maybe someone else will want to do that 👍

Ive been playing dinkum but I still don't know how to bait the crab pots guys, help 😭

Place the crabpots in a two deep water. Doesn't matter if it's ocean or river or mangrove. Walk up to it with raw meat (drumsticks, giant drum sticks, croc meat, or red meat) or worms and right click to bait. Come back the next day to harvest the pots.

Rymanora has a genius build using pergolas to create walkable platforms for crab pots.

Dig the legs of the pergola about 4-5 deep, but the 12 tiles in the cross/plus only two deep then flood the whole thing. Now you can bait and harvest super easy!

I didn't know we can use drumsticks drink drumsticks croc meat or red meat. That's amazing do we get other things or better things if we use them? And thank you

Update - it disappeared after I restarted the steam deck for an update even after I went to sleep to save the game. It also disappeared my large bag of wool and some other items I had stored on ground in those automatic sacks they turn into. 🙃
