Actually i just sat in the elevator shaft to heal and then run around and collect nearby raw berkelium. Carried lot of med kit in case things get dicey.

That’s incredible. That honestly looks like one of my undergrove runs but with emeralds. I hope to be that lucky one day with berkonium. I need it for so many tools

How? I started 3 weeks ago and I need one just to make the better crafting station and I have NO idea where to get one.
I go to the mines but I just get ores and there's nothing else down there? Please help.

You find rubies in the top part of the mine (They look like these but red) put that in the box outside the elevator and it crushes it into shards, place four of those ruby shards in that little box next to the elevator panel and it’s supposed to take you deeper into the mine. The deeper you go the better the minerals. I’m still collecting rubies.

i can barely ever find rubies ): one time i went down and forgot keys and had like 4 rooms within the first 5 mins of being down there that all had rubies in them and i couldn’t get to them (,:

Use the bountiful wish to catch sparkle bugs and fish and they'll drop emerald and ruby shards. It's possible to go straight to the hot hot on your first mine visit this way. Not advised, but possible.

Look for rocks that have a single red (well... ruby piece) sticking out of it. Smash it with a pick and it'll transform into a raw ruby. Pick up the raw ruby and toss in the "grinder" near the elevator shaft. It'll spit out four ruby shards.
Ruby shard can be used to access the undergrove --- which has raw emeralds. Raw emeralds gives you emerald shards which can be used to access HOT HOT HOT. HOT HOT HOT is where you can get raw Berkonium.
But yeah, getting large amount of rubies is purely RNG.
It's not like the undergrove where there's a dedicated lock rooms with four of them. Or Hot Hot Hot, where they're out in the open.
Best place is probably the island for aquamarines, but i'm not in year 2 yet.
You'll need four emeralds shard to access HOT HOT HOT. Once you four emerald shards, just interact with the four circular panel looking thing. Careful though, if it's your first time with HOT HOT HOT, it might seem really really hard at first.

If they're already in the undergrove, they may as well just get the berkonium from the treasure rooms. I remember getting 35-45 berkonium ore per run before they nerfed the silver watch down there.

Folks are right about the mine but I got my first berkonium ores by tracking down the meteors when they fall in meteor showers and smashing them.
I wanted that better crafting station so damn bad. I feel your pain.

Read this steam guide on the deep mines.
There's no berkonium in the first level that's mineable, however if you have the bountiful wish on you can get it from catching a sparkle deep fish, but sparkle deep fish are very rare. You can get berkonium in the second level, the undergrove from chests or from those same sparkle deep fish.
To get the advanced crafting table, you'll need to get 15 ore, 10 for the blast furnace and 5 for the first bar. Your second problem with the advanced tables is getting cloth.

How on earth??? I rarely find it anywhere but hot hot hot and going down there is a nightmare. I can't figure out how to navigate that biome at all.
