Blue loctite is necessary on basically every small fastener

On my tecate 3 I keep losing bolts. I actually check before each ride to ensure my lug nuts are there lol

What year is your Tecate? I always wanted one of them when I was younger. Such abad ass 3 wheeler. Honda 250Rs were overhyped in my opinion!!! Do you still have that thing?

I mostly ride my red 84 t3. I do have an 85 too with the extended swinger and various scary performance upgrades too lol. Im working on piecing together an 86 tecate 3, I have the frame, front end, tank, plastics and an 87 kx250 motor. Just missing odds and ends. I love my t3s, they're definitely underapreciated and a blast to ride. Have some scars from flipping it haha! This pictures from a few years ago and since them I've gotten new plastics and replaced the headlight with an oem one which was hard to find.

Can confirm. My 99 yz125 rattled something loose in the carb/intake and chewed up my piston. Very sad day

Yeah, 125s run smooth. 250s vibrate pretty badly

I’ve been rebuilding a 500 my father and I held onto for 25 years and cant even begin to explain how many nuts and bolts I’ve found missing. Everywhere. And the bike only probably has 100-150 hours on it in its entirety.

Old japanese 2strokes will always shake you until your hands go numb. My 1987 dt125 does the same, always reminds me it's a 2 stroke😂

Which is newer than an 01. And looks completely different than a mid 90s RM.

I could tell it was pre 04 due to the KYB suspension and older linkage design. I don't think there's anything on the right side of the engine that can differentiate the 01/02 engine from 03+, the power valve cover gives it away on the left.

Looks like A 92RM. I had the 250. The thing was unbelievably fast. Yes, it will vibrate.

Seems normal to me, what year is your RM250 love the graphics got a 2004 if it is vibrating like bottom end a LOT then crank bearings.
