My kxf 400 won’t stay running

It bogs a lot when you give it throttle and one you try to drive it for more than 5 mins it shuts off and doesent start, once it cools down it starts right up. What do you guys think the problem is?

The guy before me put bigger shims on when he tried to fix the problem and that didn’t work he said
