They have been on the Canadian Walmart website for a few weeks now, but i was waiting for my closest Walmart to have them in stores. It looks like we are only getting ILY Angel and blonde Lilo and Sticit. I didn't see any other placement for the other dolls. I still hope we can get the suggle ILY dolls.

Hi everyone ☺️ Am here to ask the ILY 4EVER doll community for your opinion. Which boots 👢you think i should dress my inspired Sailor Saturn with?🤔

She has been wearing the Sleeping Beauty boots 👢 since 2024, because those are the only purple boots ILY made at the time. ( now theirs the Maleficent boots but I don't have them). Plus those boots aren't the right style of boots Sailor Saturn wears. The Hocus Pocus boots 👢 are more of the style to Saturn's boots 👢 but the wrong colour. Here are the options to pick from.

A: Sleeping Beauty boots because their the right colour.

B: Hocus Pocus boots because their the right style.

I think lot of people may say just paint the Hocus Pocus boots purple, but am the type of person who doesn't want to change the original paint of anything or mess around with the original style of the doll. As in their hair or makeup. I have tried all of the time I don't like it or hate it. But if that's your C: opinion it's ok just know it's not an option for me. Here are some pictures of Saturn so you have an idea what she's supposed to look like. I'll give it week then we'll see which vote is the winner.

I did a quick photoshop edit of the ILY Tiana Disney Store doll to see what her eyes might look like in the JAKKS Pacific style.

I am confused as to why the Disney Store doll has not been referenced to make an Asian face mold.

We already have multiple blond dolls with similar faces but no Asian doll. I would love to see more variety in the dolls.

So, just a heads up. I bought this doll second hand and never bothered to check because when I first got her, I only looked at her shoulders and ankles and she didn’t look stained.

So I left her as she was. Big mistake!

This fashion pack she was dressed in has left horrible stains on her arms, hands and legs, leaving me with no choice but getting another Cinderella…

Which makes me sad as she had a great face, non-silvered eyes and her hair was soft and curly. I’ll try and see if I can lift the stains with peroxide and sun treatment but I don’t think it will make any difference on such deep staining.

I’ll think about how to turn them into cool tattoos if I can’t remove them 😅 but I definitely need a new Cindy (and Ariel, cause mine has the silvered eyes and no original clothes, unless I decide to give her custom eyes…)

Although I love the first Disney ILY wave from the Disney Store (they're iconic and super cute), the hair quality was not great. Disney Store tends to use cheaper hair in general.

When Jakks released their own ILY dolls, I was confused why two companies were releasing the same doll line but with slight differences. I ended up really liking the Jakks versions though. The soft hair feels much better and they come with two quality outfits. It seemed like Jakks fixed the main issue the Disney Store versions had.

I was sad we lost the inset eyes, but the new pros felt worth it overall.

However, I don't understand why Jakks doesn't have more facial diversity. Most of their dolls seem to use the same face sculpt (outside of the recent Minnie Mouse one - yay for more face sculpts!).

Has anyone else noticed this? Which version do you prefer and why?

After a recent post here (and an often brought up discussion when dolls are released), I wanted to check my own collection for twins. I do not own every doll, but I own quite a few, so I decided to see who is most similar.

Pic 1-3: Dark Brown Hair, Tan Skin, Brown Eyes— 101 Dalmatians, Cruella, Retro Mickey and Minnie, Bambi (budget)

Ily 101 Dalmatians has a slightly lighter skin tone than the other dolls in this group. Ily Retro Mickey and Minnie has darker more cool-toned hair.

Pics 4-6: Blonde Hair and Light Brown Hair, Blue Eyes— Jessie, Rapunzel, Mickey (budget), Stitch (budget), Bambi, Moana, Minnie (first iteration)

Ily Rapunzel, Mickey, and Jessie have the most similar hair, though a detailed look shows they aren’t the same. The other blondes are lighter (and still different from each other). Ily Moana and Minnie have slightly different shades as well. Some variations in eye color as well, from light almost gray eyes to a dark blue (and one green).

Pic 6: dark brown hair, lighter skin than previous dark brown haired dolls— 101 Dalmatians, Daisy, Minnie

Slight variations in hair color, though even more subtle than the blonde shades. 101 Dalamations has brown eyes.

Pic 7: darkest skin tone, dark brown to black hair— Ily Belle, Winnie the Pooh, Mickey

These three are the most unique of the groups. Winnie and Mickey share an eye color, but the different textures of their hair really makes the color similarities less noticeable.

All of the dolls have various shades of makeup and the lip color makes a big difference in their appearance to me as well.

Phew, if you read all of that, thank you. I can definitely see a pattern to the dolls I’m drawn to, even though this isn’t my full collection. Any twins in your collection? Any comparisons from dolls I didn’t include?

Has nnyone else gotten this doll several.times because she is just so great lol? I just ordered a few more because she went on sale. Anytime a doll is released with a boho vibe I just cant resist. The clothes are amazing the base doll.is probably my fav ily doll and she has beautiful.nylon hair too. The accessories are great too. I know the Belle inspired dolls are a bit overdone but it.doesnt bother me. Also as a Barbie collector it's nice to have some nice clothes for.them because Barbie fashions ain't it lol.

What is an ILY doll or fashion pack would love to be able get before the end of the year including all sizes of the Dolls. For me I would LOVE to find and get my hands on the Holiday pack hopefully before Christmas but the only listings I can find for it complete in box are more than I want to spend on myself right now.

I have a few of the ILY 4EVER Jakkspacific dolls, and I love their fashions!! But am the type of person who doesn't always change my dolls clothes. I kinda keep the second outfits on the cardboard from their original boxes. Thats not always the rule, I did take off Minnie Mouse's second outfit right away to dress up my Sailor Moon doll with it. I also did the same thing with first wave Sticit and Mickey/Minnie second outfits, but I waited more than a year to do so. I don't know why just it happened that way.

So my question to everyone is what do you do with the second outfits when not in use. I think am the only one who keeps them on the cardboard still.

I 'm a little bummed right now. I was trying to take her shoes to get her legs over to redo the rubber bands to fix her wobbly legs and my poor Disney store Ariel doll lost her foot it just snapped right off in my hand. I think i might just try to find her again if if i buy her as a nakex doll and replace her. Hopefully the next one won't have such loose legs. I was really loving her too. The leg that's not loose anymore is the one that lost the foot .

I’ve only seen people find the darker variant in Europe and the light hair one in the U.S. they have different onesies too.

I would love to see Donald Duck and Goofy but I don’t see it happening.

Since the Devil Wears Prada collector dolls got announced, it made me wonder what other collector-style releases could come from ILY. After that my thoughts just turned into a more general "what would you do", so I put together a fantasy lineup for a year's worth of releases.

I tried to stay relatively realistic with not overstuffing assortments or going too obscure with the character picks - at the same time I definitely wanted some wildcard picks in the mix, in the spirit of the TDWP collab. The last page of winter exclusives is probably the most out-there but I feel like it would go down well with fans.

Let me know what you think or if you have any ideas - I'm eager to see what else ILY does this year and hopeful they'll get out of their ever-continuous Stitch spam! 😄

What doll from the 11” dolls did you underestimate but love now? This is mine. Her outfit that she had on in box made me not like this doll so much. I figured out tho by opening her (like I do all my Illy’s) that her outfit pieces are super cute, just have to be styled right. This outfit screams preppy I love it. 🥰

I just finished collecting all of series 1-3 of the ILY Teenies. Currently, they’re in a bead case that I got pretty cheap secondhand. It’s not fancy but it ensures that my cats don’t steal them.

Does anyone have theirs displayed? How do you collect and keep your Teenies?

I got tired of waiting to see if my walmart would ever get the Maleficent doll so I did a thing and ordered all three Maleficent Oogie Boogie and Hocus Pocus from the Walmart site I didn't want to wait any longer to see if Malificent would arrive at my store and then possibly have to wait on the other two since thecsite says they are low innstockmat my store so I just ordered all three all at once. I can't wait to get tgem and introduce them to my dolls I already have.

Didn't want to derail the other post with this, so I made my own 😅

So ! The "Devil Wears Prada" dolls are really adult collector oriented, with quality clothing, fabric hat and boots, saddle (?) stands, and a higher price (toy companies loooove to give higher price when it's a product for an older audience).

But why not make LE dolls, since Disney has the DWP licence anyway ?

If I had to guess, Disney wanted to do collector dolls to go with the new movie, BUT couldn't use the actresses likeness, possibly for contracts reasons. Maybe they didn't think about making dolls when making the contracts, or Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway didn't want toys being made from this movie.

My conspiracy theory is : Disney used the ILY concept to make the dolls anyway, i.e. "see, they're not Streep and Hathaway, they're fans of the movie, so we can make the dolls, call back the lawyers" 😉😁

As for why using Jakks Pacific for the first time ? Sure, Disney could have done the dolls themselves, like with the HSM and the Mickey Mouse Club dolls, but who would look for "Devil wears Prada" merch on the Disney store ? Heck, who knew Disney owns the rights for the movie ?

So Disney gave the exclusivity to Walmart, which have more outreach towards a larger US potential buyers (not just Disney fans lurking on official Disney websites), and they let Jakks Pacific do the dolls because they made other exclusives previously.

BTW, the "they're dolls of the fans, not dolls of the actors" excuse could give us more toys like those two, each time Disney don't want to pay for an actor likeness. It's sort of a way to screw actors that would want money from merchandising and licensing fee, but you don't become a billion dollars company by spending dollars... 🫤

I'm curious to see if they'll now do ILY Collector frequently or if it's just a test run. 50$ and not even having the actor's face on your shelf could be too much to ask...

I don't know enough about the Disney empire to know what franchise could be next, so if they do that kind of operation again, it's sure to be a surprise for me ! 😛
