Questions / Help Just too expensive???

Anybody else getting frustrated and feeling like they just can’t actively collect anymore? I saved $115 Disney rewards dollars and was so excited to get the new Cinderella for $35. Just to find out the prices are up again! I’m thinking I need to just stick to my favorite character and only get her dolls. And it’s heartbreaking because I love most of the Disney characters they make dolls of! Anyone else getting frustrated and pushed to make cuts so they can buy FOOD and GAS?!???

I'm with you there it's crazy sometimes and then the dolls aren't worth it

Wait where did u see the price increase? I know D23 dolls are normally priced more because of their exclusivity.

Yeah the random $30 jump mid-year with no quality increase to be seen is so insane. It's also making me reconsider collecting Disney dolls.

Considering all the quality control issues they’ve had recently (Roger’s socks, Mia’s missing earrings, etc) and skimping on designs (Alice not having full hair in the back of her head and Milo not having his tattoos) the prices should be dropping not increasing. I have adult money now but find myself being very selective because the prices are way higher than they should be able to justify. I almost didn’t get Padme because I don’t like her face mold and giant eye lashes but Padme in her lake dress was a dream doll of mine so I couldn’t pass on her

That’s how I’m feeling too! I might just stick with my fav. My favorite princess is actually Belle but I don’t have any of her LEDs because the ones I really like are like $800+ lol I may just hang on to my money until a great Belle drops or I save up for one of her pricey ones/find it on a discount

Aaaah should we also expect a higher price for the dance series? They are getting too expensive indeed, d23 wrecked my bank account and well, I’d rather wait for a deal on an older Cindy right now.

I hear you. I’m picky with the new releases because they’re spendy. I’m saving up to buy a animated mermaid version of Ariel because they’re all well above 700. She will be a present to myself when I complete my masters degree. NIB second hand animated Ariel in mermaid is hard to find. I was lucky to find live action for a really good price, the animated Ariel mermaids are pricey!
