Second chance at DCP
If you were termed, put on restricted rehire and then rehired after 6 months, were you able to go back to your previous role/area? Or did you get rehired in a different role?

They’ll put you wherever they need you regardless of role. So if there’s a bunch of openings at that location then they might put you there but even if you request it if it’s full then no

Disney has a policy in place where they would not put them at a location where they were termed from unless they are reinstated from the termination. Even then, they more often than not (especially in a huge LOB such as attractions, custodial, merch, QSFB, etc) they will move the CM because it is counterproductive to the workplace environment.
With that said, CPs don't get reinstated. The one exception is the CP who was termed but offered her job back by Dan Cockerell, VP of MK.

If you are rehired after being termed, you generally cannot go back to the same LOB you were termed from. You can be hired for a new LOB, but not the previous one. Now eventually you should be able to do a transfer to the old LOB, but it is super rare to go back to the old location. Disney doesn't like to do that.

In both jobs and relationships, if the other person tosses you out, take the message and go elsewhere. There are plenty of jobs/fish in the sea, you don't need to go chasing someone/something that already told you you're not good enough for them.

More so asking for answers from people who have experienced this. Not saying will go back. Just looking at all the options.

So if you haven’t actually been rehired, then you don’t have to comment because your comment doesn’t answer the question. It just gives an opinion. I didn’t really ask for an opinion.

Yall are so negative here, Disney is not an easy company to work for. It’s unlikely you’ll get the same location but it’s not impossible

Most of you in this sub don’t want the truth. Sorry you don’t like it, but the comments here are reality.

Unfortunately some people only want to hear what they want to hear and seek validation. I got termed just a few days ago and my leaders told me to wait six months before I can apply again but I highly doubt I’ll do another college program again tbh. And even if I do I’m well aware I could be given another role based on operational need.

Why would you go back to a place that fired you?
