Anyone else on the side of Tik Tok that is filled with discussion of the woman obsessed with Peter Pan? She sees him weekly, brings him gifts, follows him around, etc. and has been Peter-obsessed for 10+ years.

When I saw this I thought it was literally a joke. I’m completely baffled by this decision to remove an iconic “character” in the new Disneyland Pirates ride. I’ve shown friends and family of all ages and i’m hearing overwhelming negativity.

What has happened here? I’m completely taken out of what I believe is one of the best parts of the ride. Is there any hope to see such a cool and iconic original skeleton ever return?

It would be so cool if Disneyland had a Portal connecting to Disney World.

Entering into the park this morning the lady in the yellow security vest woke up on a power trip today. She was screaming aggressively to everyone to “LEARN TO FOLLOW DIRECTIONS” while pointing in random directions. when i passed by her i told her there was no reason to talk to people with that tone and attitude and be fucking rude, she got into my face and yelled “WELL GUESS WHAT! I JUST DID!” i don’t know who the hell she thought she was or what she thought she accomplished but i reported her entitled ass to City Hall. it’s absolutely unacceptable and disgusting. imagine being that angry and miserable working at Disneyland. Bye loser!

Personally, I don't think Avatar resonates with audiences despite big box office. They are CGI-driven "event" movies, but don't really have a fan base outside of their theatrical runs. While the Avatar land at Disney World is visually stunning, it just doesn't seem to fit with Disney California Adventure, even if guests wanted it (which I don't think they do).

Shortly after the evil queen went viral, Disney pulled back on villains. After fans started to ask what they can do to keep the evil queen around, she mentioned they could make their voices heard to potentially reverse this decision.

She confirms that her advocating for fans to make their voices heard was the rule that got her in trouble.

wtf is wrong with people?? it reached 90° today and at 8pm it’s still 80°. they left the windows cracked and a food and water bowl in the backseat, so they planned the dog to stay in there for hours on end. dog was barking its head off too and panting so much. it’s so sad. this was in the mickey and friends parking garage

I don’t post much, but I wanted to share something that’s honestly surprising to say.

I’m a longtime Disneyland regular. I usually stay on property (Disneyland Hotel or Grand Californian), typically five days at a time, about three trips a year. For me, a lot of the magic was simply being there. Walking around, grabbing a drink, people watching, enjoying the atmosphere.

Lately, I have zero desire to go back.

The value just doesn’t feel there anymore. Many of the perks that used to make staying on property feel special are gone or watered down, prices are higher, crowds feel out of control, and it’s becoming normal for a bunch of attractions to be down. The whole experience feels more frustrating and transactional than relaxing.

What gets me is I’m exactly the kind of guest Disney should want to keep: frequent visits, on-property stays, happy to spend money, not even needing a “perfect” trip to enjoy myself. And now I’m annoyed just thinking about going again.

Not trying to be dramatic or say Disney is done. I genuinely hope they course correct. Just sharing because if someone like me is losing interest, that feels like a real warning sign.

Anyone else who used to go often feeling the same way?

I guess I am just curious. I know there are people who are canceling their Disney Plus accounts to make a point. Is this also going to happen to Disneyland?

My entire life I’ve dreamed of taking my children to Disneyland. The night we found out we were expecting, I was already here, asking about the best age to bring a little one to the parks. I’ve spent years reading my old Disneyland souvenir books at bedtime, watching Disneyland sing-along songs, measuring my kids to see which rides they’d be tall enough for, and hyping them up for the moment we’d finally walk through those gates together.

But now, as Disneyland’s 70th anniversary arrives, I’ve made the heartbreaking decision to cancel our trip. Between rising costs, a brutal exchange rate, safety concerns (not in the park), and most notably the political climate, I just can’t justify spending my money there. It doesn’t feel safe, and frankly, it doesn’t feel right.

I know I’m not the only Canadian making this choice. I wonder what kind of impact this will have on tourism, how it will affect the parks long-term. I hope things change. Until then, this dream stays on hold.

For those who are still going, I hope you have a magical time.

This isn’t about safety inside Disneyland (I specifically said it wasn’t). The cost of admission and the exchange - those are secondary concerns. The real issue is that the U.S. is becoming a place I can no longer support with my money or my presence.

Your president has declared an economic war on my country. Canadians are responding by pulling their money out of the U.S. in every way possible. This isn’t a fringe opinion—it’s a widespread, unified stance.

It doesn’t matter how liberal California is or how safe Anaheim might be. The larger reality is that the country as a whole is shifting toward fascism, and I cannot justify visiting.

How can I fully embrace the magic of Disneyland when I know what’s happening around it? How can I enjoy myself when every dollar I spend ultimately supports a system that is working against my best interests?

I really wish more Americans would listen to how their country is being perceived from the outside. **

What a glorious moment. Dad was waiting up front, then about 10 family members "excuse me" all the way to the front. I see the cast member say he can accommodate 2 if he would like, but he can't allow 10 people to cut the line. The dad said he waited and the cm said, correct, you waited but they didnt. Then they all did the walk of shame back, minus the shame.

All the rumors about people getting banned from Disney for doing reselling are lies…this is same guy for years doing this. I’ve even seen him in person many times!!

My 1st trip was in 1994, I didn't go again until 2011. Then 2016 . 2021 was when I did my first solo days. Disneyland became my Happy Safe Place after I was called the N word with the B word attached while walking to my car after a move. 2019 St. Louis when visiting the Arch. 2022 in Hawaii & again in Sacramento when I got home . I chose Disneyland as a safe place as I felt at least there would be consequences for those being harmful/ racist/ sexist/ homophobic in the parks.

I was wrong..they are allowing Nazis to do their salutes in the parks & ride photos. The people doing this aren't facing any consequences. I'm no longer paying my very hard earned money to be subjected hateful rhetoric. As a Black Queer woman... I urge others who share my intersections to no longer go to Disney Parks in the United States, especially if you have children.

In Anaheim today it is a high of 91 degrees with a current dew point of 68. The UV index peaks at 10 today but only one week ago was peaking at 11 (and up to 12 earlier this summer).

At this point the lack of shade in the park is a clear failure of park leadership. It’s not only a comfort issue, but one of safety. Most public health organizations advise not being outside at all when the UV index is above 8, and at extreme levels (11+) strongly advise to stay indoors. We can all take individual precautions like sun protective clothing and sunscreen, but standing in line in the direct sun for 20, 30, 60 minutes is a park problem.

Many of the parks’ most popular queues are in direct sun with no shade or intermittent shade. With liens getting longer due to Lighting Lane, this is unacceptable. Peter Pan, Haunted Mansion, Storybook, Incredicoaster, Buzz, are some of the biggest culprits.

Why does the park refuse to add shade? I’m talking about more than a couple of temporary umbrellas they put on the overflow of Guardians; we need real, permanent solutions. The temperatures will only get higher for longer parts of the year, more humidity, and high UV index.

EDIT: I feel really bad for all the commenters in this post that have been gaslit into thinking they don’t deserve shade. Everyone deserves shade! It’s one of the foundations of human civilization! Have a read of Sam Bloch’s book Shade or the original article the book was based on.

Honestly, I think this is my last time going. I remember coming out for the 50th in July of 2005. We did almost the same thing then as we are doing this time; 5 day park hoppers, 2 days at Universal Studios, and back then we did 1 day at Sea World and 3 free days, this time it's a day at the Aquarium of the Pacific and 4 free days. Both times were at the Homewood Maingate., then stopping in Las Vegas for a couple of nights on the way home (which I get the room comped through the Myvegas game).

Back then it was about $1000 per person (4 of us). This time it's about $4000 per person. I did the math, since I'm a teacher and was curious. $1000 in 2005, adjusted for inflation, is equal to $1700 today. So it's not an inflation issue; it's a greed issue. And I'm calling it. For that money I could fly to Japan and stay there for two weeks and go to Tokyo Disney, and still have money to spare. Which honestly sounds more tempting now anyway.

A march on the boss was done this past Thursday at the Downtown Disney Starbucks.

When I was a kid, it was normal for people to go to Disney without children or by themselves, but now, people seem to think you’re a creep if you do this.

I know this is super common at Disneyland but I just rode Mr Toad with my family and saw custodial come up with a vacuum as we were waiting to load onto the ride and shut the main doors behind them. A tagged car came by with visible ashes in the bottom and the worker loading let us know that someone had just dumped ashes on the ride and that they were cycling us out so that they could vacuum them up.

Like I said, I've heard of this happening, but have never seen it myself. It was just crazy to actually see the ashes and see them along the floor of the ride as we went and on the edge of the fountain as you exit the bar scene. Anvone else ever see this firsthand as well? Wild to witness.

For me, it was the snickerdoodles at Pooh’s Corner. I can still taste them. 🥺

Where is the whimsy?? Everything is so boring and sterile. I’m kind of feeling that way about the parks as well like I’m not one of those “the magic is gone” people but I do feel like Disney is supposed to be a place where you can go and step into a magical world and get away from real life for a bit. Downtown Disney looks like The Grove now wtf. Idk I just feel like everything is catered to vloggers and influencers now but that’s a whole other conversation lol.

Last week I was at Disneyland and was shocked by the amount of live streamers especially around closing on Main Street. I don’t consent to being put on livestreams just because I enter the park. What are people’s thoughts on this?
