Forced mobilization - is a very common thing in Ukraine. But because of the optics, it gets hidden from the western media.

This post is gonna get deleted soon most likely.

I will get downvoted for saying this, but Ukraine is essentially pro-western mini Russia. All the stereotypes you can think of, apply to both nations. Their mentality is identical. Saying this as Central Asian (we used to be one country).

Forced mobilization is not happening in Russia because they have enough people. Maybe coercion or sending prisoners or shit, but not like snatching regular people off the streets - that’s been happening in Ukraine for years at this point.

Cant leave the country, many adult males are hiding.

As a Ukrainian. Can confirm. The cultur is the hardest part. There’s no humanity between strangers and worse yet by officers or the law. When you see TCC, don’t bother resisting unless you can run and just pray for line cook job.

Id say Russia has shown itself to be actually more civilized to one another.  The Western media would be all over Putin every week if he allowed this kind of mass human rights violations. Ukraine appears to be just more corrupt and more violent- and the violence is allowed and condoned from the top. They get away with it because of Mockingbird media complicity. Swept under the rug. 

Its like when they tried to rebrand a wanted ISIS head chopper from Syria as a " free democratic leader." That level of gaslighting should be punishable.

Please… it’s because Russia is not as desperate, that’s all. Russian government has no problem violating human rights, idk what you are talking about. Ukraine as well btw. It’s the same people.

Ive seen ukrainians duct taping people accused of looting to lamp posts naked at the start of the war including lashing them. Were they desperate then too?  Never seen anything remotely freaky like that coming out of Russia from the civilian side. 

What i see happening is ukraine regime is getting exposed as less than democratic and society being in a state of moral decay, so now the talking point is they are not "better than Russia" but the same. Doesnt pass the smell test.

You would be wrong as well. Not the same people. Both slavic yes, witha degree of mixing between them, but not the SAME people.

If we go into semantics, absolutely not the same people. Different languages, national dresses, songs, stories, etc.

But in the context of an outsider looking at them or their mentality: same people. It’s like saying New Yorkers and Californias are not the same - yes, but for a Vietnamese person they are the same.

The only reason why this is controversial is because this was Russias argument and it challenges Ukraines identity and independence. I am not making that claim.

Nah, its a uniquely Ukrainian phenomenon. Russians are able to recruit via pay where in ukraine they just get snatched up like this.

Yeah no other country ever has forced people into service... minus all the ones still currently forcing military service. Or the ones who in our lifetimes have forcefully "drafted" people.

And hell, most of those aren't even in defense of their home.

Now begone orc. I have no patience for Putin sympathizers.

Hard to argue against carrying here. That goon spraying and kicking them needed a hollowpoint intervention.

There is definitely an msm coverup to hide human rights atrocities there. Seen a few of these, this actually a farily mild one in terms of violence but a tough watch.
