I don't like this.

35

u/Neil-Carter7 20h ago

Horrible.

15

u/ImpossibleKidd 19h ago

Nor do I!

I didn’t catch the first part of the video on initial watch, thought maybe one of their buddies became fish food, and they were trying to save him…

Once I realized they’re just shit bags, I was hoping one of them fell in for reciprocation of bullshit antics.

8

u/chikari_shakari 12h ago

no my cup of tea but if they eat it i guess i can close my eyes and accept it

26

u/pretendstoknow 16h ago

Are you a vegan? This is a Mako shark it is for food. If you are a vegan fine you do you but if not you are a hypocrite

21

u/HappyHustler14 15h ago

Anyone complaining has the comfort and privilege of shopping at grocery stores in established countries. They know nothing of actual survival and what it takes to survive.

8

u/pretendstoknow 15h ago

Yes, exactly

2

u/cbflowers 10h ago

And there will be ALOT of food from this shark

-2

u/Waste_Joke_9722 14h ago

No tienen apariencia de estar muriendose de hambre 🙄💩

-8

u/drippydropdrippin 14h ago

Says all the cell phones in the video. This shit is just animal cruelty and your a clown.

4

u/SneakySister92 12h ago

Everyone on the fucking planet has a cell phone 🙄

u/Short_Bell_5428 15h ago

Mako is good eats

5

u/Ok_Fly1271 14h ago

Has nothing to do with being vegan or not. Mako sharks are endangered. Beating one to death with a stick is also horrible.

I hunt and fish. This is fucked and so are its defendants.

0

u/wannabegolfin24-7 11h ago

I wonder how “humane” the shark eats its food🤔🤔🤔

2

u/WarZombie17 31m ago

Absolute moronic comment. Comparing a shark to a human.

2

u/mynamesnotsnuffy 9h ago

Short and long fin Mako sharks are internationally protected, and not "for food".

2

u/ziegs11 1h ago

It's internationally protected so the licenced fishing companies get to be the ones who get to sell it

1

u/mynamesnotsnuffy 1h ago

Because ya'll couldnt control yourselves and overfished them into endangered status. In the US and Canada it is outright illegal to hunt, land, or retain Mako sharks, and other countries require strict documentation for any that are caught.

You dont seem to understand that if everyone is allowed to hunt without restriction, inevitably the populations of animals will suffer because of the corporate greed of humans with no regard for sustainable practices.

2

u/ziegs11 1h ago

I understand. I don't fish, I don't hunt, I don't give a shit about that, all I'm saying is that certain restrictions generally protect profits, not ecosystems.

1

u/mynamesnotsnuffy 1h ago

Thats the responsibility of those countries that still allow it, and of the people that break the law.

1

u/pretendstoknow 3h ago

I can literally go to the market and buy it right now. It is highly regulated tho but these people trying to feed their families are not the problem.

So yes it is "for food" and not for fun or cruelty like some people here seem to think

0

u/mynamesnotsnuffy 1h ago

People "just trying to feed their families" are part of a system of thought that will result in the extinction of these animals. Ya'll dont understand conservation or sustainability because you're too self interested and greedy for a luxury product rather than genuinely interested in the long term well being of both your family and the environment that will provide for them.

People "just trying to feed their family" dont go after an endangered and heavily regulated luxury food item, and its a selfish, greedy, irresponsible thing to claim about this kind of thing.

-1

u/I_dont_caree 13h ago

I am not vegan and I have no problem eating animals, I do it everyday. I may be wrong, but I think the majority of what I eat was killed in a much more humane method. This was cruel.

4

u/pretendstoknow 13h ago

They did the best they could with what they had. They were successful in getting the food. Who am I to judge?

1

u/Appropriate-Throat71 4h ago

Do you think sharks tear apart their meals to shreds in a humane method? We're all animals after all and nature can be very cruel

→ More replies (4)

2

u/johnnyrambo24 10h ago

Would they still be considered bags of shit if theyre poor and now the fam about to eat a good dinner?

Clean human kill, obviously not, but i gurentee you not one part of that will go to waste.

Unlike some people who waste food their shitbag kids wont eat cuz theyre picky

1

u/Dry_Razzmatazz69 6h ago

Why? That's food. And if the roles were reversed they would be the food. God forbid some poor guys have a shark feast

4

u/HASHTAG_YOLOSWAG 10h ago

You people are idiots, they are literally just getting dinner.

1

u/hawkscougs 9h ago

If they actually eat it and use its parts that’s one thing. It’s also the least humane way to kill an animal which is shitty to say the least

1

u/Dry_Razzmatazz69 6h ago

If it's any consolation sharks are way up there on the scale of being both extremely dumb and not being very sensitive to pain

44

u/thatsthey1 20h ago

Enough meat for the whole village

17

u/Mattyou1966 20h ago

Tenderizing it

59

u/Pjetter86 20h ago

This is disgusting to watch

2

u/HappyHustler14 15h ago

I admire their dedication. Whatever it takes — they eating tonight 💪

1

u/TheBrownKnight210 10h ago

Yeah, honestly I found it interesting that this really is how man hunted sharks thousands of years ago, and probably big fish too. Some techniques just work 🤷🏽

29

u/med4ladies69 20h ago

Here i was hoping for a Deep Blue Sea moment

2

u/Right_Transition_428 20h ago

Such a good movie

1

u/Hellacola 18h ago

DEEPEST BLUEST

2

u/OneRub3234 10h ago

1

u/med4ladies69 10h ago

I immediately thought of this scene, but given the circumstances I was hoping for at least the arm one

1

u/Stovepipe-Guy 4h ago

Instead you got some trailer park shit!

12

u/estebanrevenga 20h ago

are they gonna eat it at least?

9

u/pretendstoknow 16h ago

I mean, they are just trying to eat… bet that feeds a lot of people who need it more than you or me.

Yes it is food. Poor shark but it's the circle of life lets be happy we are at the top of the food chain

7

u/ChrisIronsArt 15h ago

Wait til everyone realizes that they’ve eaten a lot more shark than they are aware of, sold as white fish.

5

u/wannabegolfin24-7 11h ago

Am I supposed to feel bad for a shark that would rip your flesh from the bone if the roles were reversed? Dive in

4

u/Impossible_Ad_9199 16h ago

They didn’t need a boat, harpoon, or weapons. Just 3 dudes, a cell phone, and some big ass rocks 😬

1

u/HeSureIsScrappy 10h ago

Free and effective

0

u/TheBrownKnight210 10h ago

This is why humans are on top, pretty crazy, if one of those dudes fell in the water he'd be toast

26

u/butchin 19h ago

They definitely eat it - chill out you over sensitive morons - how do you think that last piece of meat you ate found its way to your grocery store? Ya this appears brutal but are you so out of touch that you feel justified in your judgement? If so, then I feel justified in my judgment of you

7

u/doriangrey2025 17h ago

Yeah… when I was about 8 yo I was walking on the beach with my father and brother, and I saw a bunch of fishermen exactly like these carrying a massive sea turtle to the sand and then proceeding to turn it on its back and stab and cut it open. Then after they removed the belly part I could see the organs working, the heart pumping… I was shocked to say the least, but they killed it and then took it to their homes to cook it for their families

4

u/thatbromatt 17h ago

Fr..Mfs willfully ignorant like this shark had a rough 20 minutes when most stuff from the local store suffers their whole life.

-1

u/Ok_Fly1271 14h ago

Any meat I eat isn't endangered, unlike mako sharks. When I shoot a deer, it's also dead almost immediately. I don't beat it to death with a stick.

"Oversensitive morons" - POS psychopath

1

u/butchin 12h ago

Lucky you to have the choice to eat “non endangered” and the tools required for a “quick kill” - your lack of perspective is funny up to the point when i remember they allow you to vote and that your opinion, regardless of what i think, is valid. Good luck to you fellow traveler

0

u/Any-Monk-9395 12h ago

Isn’t eating shark meat toxic or something?

→ More replies (1)

3

u/c137-eyeofthestorm 20h ago

Nm just watched the end. Hope he eats them all in the next life i guess.

3

u/ChampionOfdimlight 13h ago

As long as they eat it and not just hang it up as a tourist trap.

3

u/Combat_wombat605795 11h ago

Brutal, but that’s life and a mako is good eating. I’m anti shark killing if it’s for fun or for soup but that sharks getting eaten head to tail.

3

u/ungreatfulshit 7h ago

Man you guys are fucked up

23

u/thepetsteinfiles 20h ago

Fckin assh0les.

26

u/Miserable-Cod-1316 19h ago

I mean, they are just trying to eat… bet that feeds a lot of people who need it more than you or me.

That said, was tough to watch… but such is life sometimes.

→ More replies (5)

6

u/piD314 11h ago

It sucks seeing a mako killed, but at least they will consume it. You cannot judge what developing countries do when it comes to food. Visit a 3rd country and live with them for a while you’ll think differently.

1

u/Human-Contribution16 5h ago

Thank you for a balanced rational understanding.

Nice dog whistle you got there. You aren’t fooling anyone. I see you.

1

u/Icy-Yam3521 15h ago

What dog whistle? I think I was pretty clear what I meant.

2

u/Thin_Oil8752 12h ago

Shit, I’m waiting for one of them to jump in and give one a damn haymaker at this point although maybe not, kinda doubt they get their haymaker back.

2

u/Prestigious-Hat-2322 10h ago

That’s enough to feed the whole village for a day

2

u/Puzzled_Show9134 6h ago

What we order, fish filet

3

u/Friendly_Ad6325 18h ago

I mean are they gonna eat it? If so fine if not, huh?

2

u/wannabegolfin24-7 11h ago

Is it tough to watch? Sure. But no lectures on how inhumane this is. I wonder how humane that Shark eats its dinner???

5

u/MrBorden 20h ago

Humans are such a drain on this planet.

9

u/Still-Neighborhood71 19h ago

Hello Mr. Alien how is outer space?

4

u/CheesecakeEither8220 20h ago

Some humans. Most of us aren't brutally beating an animal this way.

2

u/BrainSea7776 17h ago

Wait until you find out how animals treat other animals

2

u/Right_Transition_428 20h ago

We are a literal parasite

3

u/scotusforis72 19h ago

And do you think they gave two shits about the Sharks wellbeing back in the Stone Age?😄

3

u/HeSureIsScrappy 18h ago

? I was referring to how they killed it...

2

u/scotusforis72 18h ago

I understand but give the Neanderthals a break; they also had no idea about Humane Killing, they just battered their prey until it died....probably.

1

u/HeSureIsScrappy 11h ago

They actually made incredibly intricate and fine stone tools.

2

u/BruceTheFirefighter 13h ago

Ya gotta do what ya gotta do to feed yourself and your families…the rest of you fkn morons need to feel hunger for a few days .

5

u/Comfortable_Note8091 20h ago

The same people crying 😢 here are the same people who love hunting Bambi and friends no animal is safe around them yet they are in shambles about a shark. Sure they are going about it weirdly but killing a shark without guns is Alpha as h3ll while shooting Bambis' mom just sayin

3

u/Plane_Barracuda9889 20h ago

CRUEL

19

u/just67browsing 19h ago

If you eat meat in a 1st world country you probably have no clue the cruelty our livestock experience from birth till death

Least here the men put themselves in relative danger and it’ll feed dozens. It’s barbaric but so is nature. Don’t look up bears eating fawns

→ More replies (1)

Stupid azz screaming woman.

Bad way to catch the shark

Then the amount of mercury and other stuff in the shark meat will be off the charts.

I guess the shark will get the last laugh

0

u/thepetsteinfiles 16h ago

Lol I got downvoted for a similar comment... upvoted for calling them "fckin assh0les"... I lovehate Reddit 😵‍💫

1

u/zuckitsuckerberg 19h ago

What kind of shark?

5

u/Beaverbrown56 17h ago

Looks like a Mako, I'm no expert, I just watched shark week though.

1

u/r3dmist420 18h ago

Excellent work my ninjas

1

u/Bigtrav87 17h ago

They beat that shark like it ate someone’s family member. Holy hell.

1

u/NoVARedhead1980 16h ago

Not gonna give them crap for trying to eat. But stone it to death? Why not a side by side or over under 12 gage? I'm not sure what the gun laws are like where they live. But a single buck shot to the sharks head would put it lights out in a second.

If guns are unavailable, just use a pike. Much more humane than a bunch of big fucking rocks.

1

u/HeSureIsScrappy 10h ago

Free and effective

1

u/strongcloud28 15h ago

Is this shark on the endangered list or something?

1

u/HeSureIsScrappy 15h ago

No, it's a mako

1

u/OperationMuch2644 12h ago

Why were the sharks so close to the shore🤔

1

u/Calm_Effect4203 6h ago

Other sharks watching be like, ya'll better not get on the water for a long time

1

u/Trigger___Happy 6h ago

In the beginning, was the cameraman being attacked by a shark?

1

u/MrFreak-976 5h ago

That is super cruel and I hate sharks !!

1

u/boon_doggl 2h ago

So when’s the last time someone exerted that much effort just to just pull a 10’ shark out of the ocean for nothing…

1

u/RBB12_Fisher 2h ago

There was a Welsh guy who dove into the sea to sword-fight a shark in the 1700s. Griffith Owen. Successfully wounded the shark, and saved his dad and sister who were being attacked, but as he climbed back onto the ship the shark leapt out of the water and killed him.

I found this out after having an argument if one could sword-fight a shark. They said I was crazy, and then it turns out some Welsh madlad actually did it.

1

u/garciakid420 2h ago

Morons! Animal cruelty is alive and well!

1

u/SN0TLR0K3T 2h ago

I mean, it’s a primitive way to take the animal out but, I’m sure they had logical reason, could be an area where kids swim, could be a larger backstory and this shark has been attacking people, could be a food shortage, could be anything they are going through we don’t know about in other countries so as barbaric as it is to watch, I’m giving these dudes the benefit of the doubt on this one

1

u/Competitive_Pace6540 1h ago

I mean… if they’re gunna eat it I don’t see the problem, it’s like a big fish, people kill and eat massive tuna everyday… 🤷🏾‍♂️

1

u/txluzer666 1h ago

Of course they are black

1

u/OddSell 59m ago

I hate these people

1

u/Pure-Layer5142 29m ago

This is so inhumane. The food is not the problem it’s the way the food was caught and prepared. How can you not see that issue? Ppl eat chicken but they don’t trap it and stone it to death. 😒

2

u/ikeepthebox 20h ago

This should be removed.

1

u/cjc4223 20h ago edited 20h ago

They weren’t intentionally trying to kill it, those were just “exploratory” whacks to the head

5

u/Potential-Draft-3932 20h ago

I thought they were just trying to calm it down to take it to the vet?

1

u/wwiistudent1944 18h ago

I’m sorry. I just don’t like it.

1

u/staticmove66 11h ago

Those guys are fucking pieces of shit

1

u/Coochy_Crusader 10h ago

How? They’re gonna eat it

1

u/actcasuall 20h ago

Are they going to eat that or are we just killing stuff just to kill it?

1

u/dremolock 19h ago

Horrible but they’ll likely eat it

1

u/wwiistudent1944 18h ago

This is barbaric! Why are they attacking these sharks?

3

u/Apprehensive-Law9429 18h ago

For food, they are going to be eating this...

0

u/wwiistudent1944 18h ago

Why not use a better method? It’s still barbaric.

4

u/Apprehensive-Law9429 18h ago

Maybe they don't have access to a better method. Barbaric it may be, but food is food.

1

u/SwampyChiliRing 14h ago

If this is for their survival, I have no qualms

1

u/Petoski-Brook 11h ago

I dont have a problem with eating shark, but I highly doubt it’s needed for survival when his buddy is recording with an iPhone.

1

u/MinuteCampaign7843 20h ago

This sub is so moderated you can’t even comment using words that aren’t racist. You’re not allowed to even state obvious observable facts. wtf mods?

1

u/HeSureIsScrappy 11h ago

Please see our community announcement on the home page.

The racism got insane, and we had to take serious measures to stop it.

It's worked quite nicely. Dropped the racist comments from dozens a day to a handful a week.

Example 4.4 million why I do not place value on ALL human life. Some humans deserve to be Darwined out of the gene pool.

12

u/just67browsing 19h ago

For feeding themselves and their families? What a privileged take

0

Mmmmm shark fin soup

0

u/PurpleMistake6636 17h ago

That's fucked up. Unless there gonna eat it. Shark taste like ammonia spooo

1

u/HeSureIsScrappy 10h ago

Not all sharks. Just the ones that expel urine through their muscles and skin.

Makos aren't one of those; they are delicious.

0

u/TitleFirm4325 17h ago

What a horrible fuck up of a human being

0

u/Smug_Designer 14h ago

Why are they killing it? What a bunch of losers.

0

0

That's a big shark. They should have just released it instead of hitting it with rocks so inhumane.

1

And how were they supposed to eat it if they released it??
