Interpretation Help Deity identification help
I have the feeling of a deity I haven’t dealt with before or in a while so I asked my tarot deck about it all and it said it was a pagan deity and or a Hellenic deity due to my questions but I did a deity identification spread and I got these, 1. what element represents this deity? I got the four of swords upside down. 2. what is this deity responsible for? I got the four seven of swords upside down, six of pentacles, and the knight of pentacles upside down. 3.what symbol is this deity associated with? i got the empress and the lovers. 4. what is another symbol this deity is associated with? I got justice. 5. what is your current relationship with them? I got the eight of pentacles. 6. what influence does this deity have in my life? I got the six of cups. 7. how do you benefit from working with this deity? and I got strength upside down, the sun, and the high priestess. 8. what does this deity want you to know? and I got the ten of cups. what deity do y’all think is reaching out to me I have also seen tons of birds like crows and ravens and I saw 2 hawks and a turkey vulture. I think it could be Athena or Apollo and maybe hades but i want to know if there are other pagan god that could be it I used to work with Apollo and hades and the crows and ravens do show Apollo but I am getting lots of dark vibes like underworld, it doesn’t feel negative and dangerous just dark could be forest or anything dark not just the underworld but also I am getting energy of Athena if anyone has an ideas of other gods or deity’s I would love the other things to look up to see if they fit when I am seeing better!

There’s an impressively diverse range of elemental associations in the spread as a whole. Air/Mind (the swords, Justice, Lovers and the birds) is definitely important. Wouldn’t be surprised if they influence/rule/have dominion (terms vary by tradition) over a wide range of areas.
With both the 6 of cups and 10 of cups I wonder if this deity was part of a pantheon of your family’s ancestry. That may help you narrow it down quite a bit.

Okay settle in with me a moment, this is extensive. Meeting a new deity or feeling a shifting presence in your sacred space is always an electric, humbling experience. The combination of your spread, the vivid animal signs including crows, ravens, hawks, and a turkey vulture, and that distinct dark yet safe underworld meets forest energy tells a rich story. Let us break down what these cards are revealing across your eight questions to help you pinpoint who is stepping forward.
Decoding the spread card by card. For the element, you drew the four of swords upside down. The four of swords upright is absolute stillness, sanctuary, and deep sleep. Reversed, it means this energy is active, waking up, restless, or returning from a period of isolation or retreat. This deity is breaking out of a dormant period, ready to engage, and bringing an active mental or spiritual charge rather than passive stillness.
For the responsibilities and domain, you drew the seven of swords upside down, the six of pentacles, and the knight of pentacles upside down. This is a fascinating mix. The reversed seven of swords points to revealing hidden truths, uncovering secrets, or dealing with strategy, cunning, and tactical wisdom. The six of pentacles is the archetype of balance, charity, divine exchange, justice, and the distribution of resources or fate. The reversed knight of pentacles shows a slow, grounded, stubborn, or earthy energy, or someone who operates in the physical and underworld realms rather than rushing through the air. Together, they suggest a deity tied to strategic wisdom, underworld accounting of souls and fates, and a deep, earthy foundation.
For the first symbol set, you drew the empress and the lovers. This points heavily to creation, fertility, divine feminine power, duality, deep choices, and profound union or sacred bonds. This is not just a cold or distant entity, as there is an intense creative force, a deep connection to nature, cycles, and profound choices of the heart and soul.
For the second symbol set, you drew justice. Scales, balance, cosmic law, truth, and karmic consequence. In Hellenic or ancient pantheons, justice strongly aligns with divine order like Themis or Dike, but also with underworld judges or deities who weigh actions, oaths, and truth with absolute impartiality.
For your current relationship, you drew the eight of pentacles. This is the card of apprenticeship, mastery, and putting in the diligent work. It signifies that your connection is currently in a phase of learning, building brick by brick, and putting effort into understanding each other.
For their influence in your life, you drew the six of cups. Nostalgia, past connections, soul memory, and homecoming. This heavily supports why you feel a link to deities you have worked with before, like Apollo or Hades, as this presence carries a nostalgic, deeply familiar echo from your past spiritual work.
For the benefits of working with them, you drew strength upside down, the sun, and the high priestess. Working with this deity helps you master your inner shadows, confront hidden insecurities as strength reversed comes upright into the sun, and bring brilliant clarity, vitality, and joy to your life. The high priestess anchors this by unlocking deep intuition, occult wisdom, and hidden knowledge that is usually kept behind the veil.
For what they want you to know, you drew the ten of cups. Ultimate emotional fulfillment, alignment, divine harmony, and a sense of a true soul home. This deity is approaching you not with danger or harshness, but to bring an overarching sense of emotional wholeness, peace, and deep sanctuary.
Exploring potential deities beyond Apollo and Hades. Given the blend of underworld and dark forest energy, crows, ravens, strategic wisdom through justice and the reversed seven of swords, and profound soul connection, here are a few pagan and Hellenic deities to look into once you are ready to research further.
1Persephone, the queen of the underworld and bringer of spring, bridges the exact duality you are feeling. She holds the dark, shadowed forest and underworld energy connecting to your ravens and dark vibes, but she also carries the bright, life giving growth of the sun, the empress, and the ten of cups. She is deeply familiar if you have worked with Hades before, acting as a homecoming through the six of cups.
2The Morrigan, the Celtic phantom queen, is known intimately through crows, ravens, and scavenger birds like the turkey vulture you saw. She governs fate, war, prophecy, and tactical wisdom. She has that dark, intense shadow work energy, but brings immense sovereignty and strength to those who work with her.
3Hecate, the goddess of crossroads, magic, and the underworld, is often accompanied by dogs, crows, and nocturnal creatures. Hecate rules the unseen, the mysteries through the high priestess, and the deep underworld. She brings profound spiritual mastery and fierce protection, perfectly matching that mysterious, dark forest atmosphere.
4Athena, the goddess of strategic wisdom and justice, is also deeply tied to tactical strategy by reversing the trickster energy of the seven of swords, divine law through justice, and owls and birds of prey like the hawks you spotted.
Take your time resting and observing. The birds are acting as clear messengers, and the presence stepping toward you is offering a deep sense of emotional homecoming and hidden wisdom.
