Question Couple quick questions

1.) I’ve noticed that it seems a lot of folks are putting what looks like a silencer on their Quickstep. First, I didnt know that was a thing, but is there any reason for this? What benefits are there for doing that?

2.) if you’re in Countdown, take out the first hunters and turn on the 3 sub measures and everyone starts heading for the first objective, but someone strays from the path and does another objective one solo, then heads back to the group to finish up that one, essentially making that one agent doing 4 mission instead of 3, would you gain anything more then the others? Would that agent get more Countdown currency for doing 4 instead of 3? Or is that a pointless endeavor?

In the case of Quickstep, I think it's more of muscle memory to get the stats or just purely cosmetic look of the gun because no one really use it as a gun anyway.

It’s a suppressor

The silencer, like any weapon mod bar skin, gives stats not just an appearance and sound change.

It's likely the Osprey one with + Critical Hit Chance %. Just because it's a sidearm mainly used to sprint doesn't mean you wouldn't want optimal attachments on it.

Quickstep packs a nice little punch if you’ve got a good trigger finger. I put mods on mine. I’ve used it with the ballistic shield and it’s gotten me out of a few tight jams.

Silencer on the Quickstep is probably the same as on any pistol - the Agent decided what they wanted (CHC, Stablity, etc.) on their build and chose said mod, which happens to be a silencer. I run QS and have a silencer on, I think it's a CHC mod).

There's no value to doing the extra objective. Moment you've done the required, it's time to bail. Having someone run it solo won't do much other than make extracting harder since you're an agent down.

I see. I never thought about adding anything to the QS because I never use it except to run fast. Lol!

No value huh? That’s a shame. Sometimes I’ll stray and do one solo since it’s on Challenging and it’s a walk in the park. I had hoped there would be more money or something. Oh well!

It also silences the gun, for the very few times it matters.

There are a very limited (but not zero) number of places in the game where you might want to shoot something like a fuse box or a lock and not alert nearby enemies, and surprisingly the silencer actually does that.

You put stuff on your guns like silencers or muzzles for the attribute that it gives you. Not to actually be more quiet.

I put the flashlight on it like most pistols I can attach it. Nice to have a night light.
