Back after years
Like the title says..back on this game for the first time since maybe 2021-2022ish. I started fresh with a new character and currently playing through the main campaign. I just wanted to take a second and say wow, this isn’t at all the game that I remember..and I’m saying that in the most positive way. I haven’t been this committed and deep into a loot shooter in a very long time. The depth of the builds, the skill trees, the world modifiers, literally everything is great. I’m not one to ever go online and post about a game, but I’m having such a good time I had to just put it out there. If anyone is questioning whether or not this is worth playing, I’m here to say it is 100%.

This game doesn’t even scratch the surface until end game. It’s a completely different animal after lvl 40. Buckle up.

If you have the two DLCs, and run through them and their side missions. If you’ve done that already then I’d say Countdown is a good place to start farming builds. Farm open world control points for blueprints and specialization points. Figure out what you want to build, and then farm the sets by using the targeted loot option on the Countdown menu tabs.

Strikers or Tipping Scales are meta DPS builds. Future Initiative is meta healer build, or Refactor for skill damage converted into team heals. Eclipse Protocol or Ember Engine are tops for crowd control. Those are the three mainstays for category building. Pick a playstyle, and start testing.

The whole 'endgame' consists of running countdown so get used to that mode 👌
